At 3:00am the night manager allowed a group of high school graduates to stay at the hotel (presumably they had been thrown out of their first choice). I was informed that one of the group was a friend of a friend of the night manager. The group shouted, screamed, constantly went from room to room slamming doors, and ran loudly along corridors until about 7:00am. I understand the night manager was asked to call the police but did not (presumably his friends didn’t get in trouble) so the entire section of the 2nd floor around my room got no sleep after 3:00am. The manager is being informed that a full refund is being requested and expected. I had been driving for four days from Ottawa with a long drive to Dryden the next day so really needed my sleep to stay alert while driving.

Check-in was a breeze. Rooms were great and staff members were super friendly. Breakfast was yummy and the cook was accommodating and cooked my 8 year old a few more eggs & bacon before it was over.

The hotel is only two stories and there is no elevator. I found the staff couldn’t care less that I’m handicapped and had to carry the bags up a flight of stairs, which is extremely difficult for me. The receptionist had such a horrible attitude. It was like she hated life. The free breakfast as well closed just as we walked in and again the workers couldn’t care less that we were there to get breakfast. By the way, we still had a few minutes before the time to close. Overall, worst hotel experience I’ve had in a very long time I travel a lot for work other places have always been much nicer than this place

I am 83 years old and travel with my dog. This was a very safe place for us to stay clean welcomed and nicely at the front desk and plenty of places to get food up and down the road as well as to walk by little guy. I stay here every time I travel through thunder Bay, which is once out west once back twice a year.

Staff was amazing

very comfortable stay. The location was easy to access and close to many great restaurants. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the night light in the bathroom.

Air handling unit in room did not work, water in sink does not drain, no Kleenex, no elevator

The beds were pretty uncomforatable. And there was a young man on the evening shift that was extremely rude when we were having trouble using the keys to enter the hotel.
