We only stayed overnight but the room was clean and bed was comfortable. Mattress was a bit firm. This is the second time we have stayed here and parking was not available on site. We ended up parking at City Hall and walking to the hotel.

Excellent location within walking distance to many of the attractions. The apartment style room was super convenient and spacious. Would most definitely return.

Nothing special. It was an OK stay.

We had booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds. We were checked in with no issues but arrived in our rooms to see just one queen bed in each. We addressed this with reception who agreed we had a) been assigned rooms incorrectly b) we had not been made aware of this at check in c) they were fully booked and could not give us the rooms we had booked and paid for d) all they could offer us was breakfast on one morning. If they offer you this, do not accept it, the breakfast was terrible and we soon realised why the restaurant was completely empty. There was no available parking for us on site, although so had specifically booked this hotel because it offered parking. Not sure if this is part of a chain but personally would never stay in one of these anywhere again if it is.

Bedroom was large and kitchenette was convenient. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable and supportive. The bathroom was ultra small with hardly any counter space and no hooks to hang towels except for the towel bar inside the shower. The room walls are thin. You can easily hear neighbouring room’s conversations and tv. Parking is limited at the hotel, but parking at the City Hall garage is 5-10 minutes walk away and much less costly. There are lots of places to eat within a short walking distance.

We did not know that the accessible room was not available to get on the website, so when we asked about it at the front desk they told me that it was booked but we were able to get it it for our last night. The queen junior suites are very small. I also found the food very pricey for the quality there was. Also if you have back issues the beds are very hard.

A favourite place to stay in Ottawa. The kitchen and extra space makes it feel like an apartment and it's lovely to be able to prepare a simple meal, then hang out on the couch, watch a movie, while someone else is asleep in the bedroom. Staff are really helpful, everything is clean, and rooms have been upgraded since we stayed a few years ago. Only complaints were, in the Junior Suite, no light/table on one side of the bed so glasses and phone had to go on the floor. A small table and side chair would be great in the living room to make it easier to eat, not having to balance plates on the lap. Centrally located, walking distance to Farm Boy, LCBO, Rexall, library, restaurants, easy to get a cab or transit to father locations. Highly recommend.

The 2 bedroom suite was huge! Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms need to be better maintained though. We had a full kitchen which was nice.

Stayed for a very short overnight stay due to BluesFest. Hotel parking was full but plenty of other parkings available near. Room was in decent condition , bathroom on the smaller side. Portable AC was running - but not plugged in the doorframe to ventilate outside the room

Front desk staff members were friendly and efficient. Our room was okay, but very much in need of a deep cleaning throughout - living room (stained carpet), kitchen (glasses, coffee mugs in cabinets stuck to the shelving; trash behind garbage can under sink); bedroom (items from previous guests had fallen behind a small cabinet). Comfy bed, clean linens, ample towels. Surprisingly quiet location with easy access to restaurants, pubs and grocery store (Farm Boy).

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Rideau Canal and nearby bike paths. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. Our room, which included a kitchenette, was spacious. Having a full-size refrigerator and freezer was a great convenience. Another highlight was that Parliament Hill was only a pleasant 15-20 minute walk away, making it easy to explore the city.

The staff were amazing, very helpful, friendly and responsive if we needed anything extra delivered to room such as towels. The rooms were clean however some staining on carpets and hvac leakages resulted in some paint bubbles on the wall but did affect the comfort and amenities in the room. Will stay at this location again.

Our family of three stayed for two nights at the Ottawa Embassy. The pictures online are very deceiving. Our room was dirty and were unable to fully relax when we were there. Food from their previous guests was left in our fridge, there was obvious spills that had been left so long dust was accumulating over them, there was even a bracelet behind the bedside table that had been left by someone else and obviously not noticed as the room was not vacuumed, along with some weird black smudges on one pillowcase. The balcony had cigarette butts and old dried up tissues on the floor. Upon checkout my husband mentioned this to the girl at reception and was told she would let the cleaning staff know. The location for what my family had planned was fantastic. It was convenient having the restaurant on site and we did have two meals there. Knowing what I know now, I would not book here again and do not recommend this hotel to others. I would hate for someone to waste their money based on the pictures provided online.
