Mexican-owned, the equal of any western chain hotel. Very clean, very well-maintained, everything always works or it gets fixed immediately 24/7.Very friendly and helpful staff, quite a few speak English. Their breakfast buffet is wonderful and well-attended by locals, always a good sign!

Location is fantastic. Staff super friendly. Free parking 3 blocks away. Air conditioning very good. Nice little pool. Hotel loans towels.

El hotel de estilo colonial era bonito y estaba limpio. La conexión Wi-Fi fue probablemente la peor que he experimentado en un hotel. Me decepcionó que mi habitación no tuviera ventana. Esta información no aparecía en la aplicación de Hotels.com. Para ser sincero, de haberlo sabido, habría reservado una habitación superior o me habría alojado en otro hotel. El personal fue muy profesional, amable y eficiente. La mayoría de los recepcionistas hablaban inglés mejor que yo español.

Rooms were clean, staff very courteous and friendly

I loved it and booked another night on the spot! Clean, comfy and cozy! Access to a microwave should be for everyone. Alexandria said no microwave but when the gentlemen came in who work there, they gladly microwaved my leftovers.

This hotel has a great location. Unfortunately that location in the historical centre is also very noisy. On the same block there is a nightclub that plays thumping music till at least 2am if not later every day. Also car traffic on the stone laid roads is noisy even with me staying on the 4th floor. My room was exposed on 2 sides and I suspect the night club problem would be in the whole hotel except for those lower down facing the road. Rooms were clean. TV was modern where you can sign in your own Netflix, Youtube or Prime TV. A/C had only one setting, very cold and was fairly noisy for a split unit device.

Stayed a number of nights. Hotel is renovating. The noise during the day borders on intolerable. I work in hotel rooms and I could not here (or hear!). Although wi-fi can hit 200 +mps many rooms cant't and often a high latency rate: but what is the point if someone is jackhammering below you. Once the renovation is done I'm sure it will be great to stay again. Renovated rooms are really nice

We were passing through Merida on our way to Mexico City and this hotel was perfect for our needs. It is an older property, but has everything, and we slept well. Great service too.

It took a long time for check in, room was not ready. Staff wasn’t around to help with the luggage during check in and out. The swimming pool was not clean! The place is a ran down place, old mattresses with holes! We couldn’t wait to check out! I do not recommend to any one!
