Hotel was packed with people. Many sitting on the patio near the pool. I felt like i was at a resort. Indoor Pool was open. Service was good. The front desk gentleman was very nice. He answered all my questions. Paid parking. Its only $6.50 though, so as long as your vehicle is safe, I don’t mind paying the price, however i don’t think its fair. There are balconies but smoking is not allowed, although i see the good part of it. Overall a nice stay. It would be nice if the franchise would invest a little bit in renovating the place.

BEWARE OF $7 ADDITIONAL DAILY PARKING FEE. I recently stayed at the Quality Inn located at 33 Benson Street in Kingston, Ontario. The location is convenient, with easy access to the city and nearby attractions. The building itself appears to be an older property, but it has been maintained well and provides a comfortable place to stay for travellers looking for a practical and affordable option. One feature I didn’t like was the grab-and-go “breakfast” option. This is no way qualifies as any sort of breakfast – there are a few prepackaged muffins, banana, oranges and coffee – that’s it. I’ve stayed at quality ends before and many times they offer eggs, bacon/sausage, cereal, and so many other things, but this breakfast was very disappointing. I think it’s reasonable to expect having a semi-decent breakfast after spending over $100. That’s just my opinion. One thing I was disappointed with was the parking fee. I was charged almost $7 for parking, and this cost was not clearly mentioned when I booked the listing. I feel that additional charges like this should be disclosed upfront during the reservation process so guests can make an informed decision. However, the lady at the front desk waved the fee once I mentioned that I was not happy with it. Overall, it was a decent stay, but clearer communication about fees would improve the experience.

Overall, great stay. I went with the cheapest option I could find so I was not expecting a 5 star hotel, but this hotel exceeded my expectations. Not 100% spotless, but clean enough whereby I felt confident someone did come in between guests to do a thorough clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the sheets looked and felt clean. The bathroom was decent, not entirely spotless but also did not feel disgusting. There were a few spots throughout the room where maintenance would be beneficial, such as the door, the ceiling toilet lid etc, but none of the slight defects impeded negatively on my stay. I stayed on the second floor, which if you have a choice I would significantly recommend, as the front doors are not sound proofed whatsoever so it can get relatively loud if someone is outside, especially if on the ground floor. There is a charge for parking, around $6 a day, which I was not advised of when booking so be warned regarding this. Significant amount of parking was available, and it wrapped around the entire property which was convenient. Location wise, extremely convenient as there are numerous plazas within walking distance which made any last minute necessities extremely accessible. Overall, my stay was pleasant, my needs were met and I was happy with what this hotel provided. I would stay here again.

Our favourite team hotel! Fantastic outdoor area for a pot luck / bbq. Close to the fields. Pillows were super comfortable. A few mentioned the beds were small. Overall thumbs up👍🏼

The staff make the difference. This is an older property, but the rooms are reasonably clean and reflect the price we paid. It was a perfect place for our soccer team to enjoy after a day of games. We had a great time, the staff were all friendly and accommodating.
