The room was clean but small, shower has half glass partition which allows water to go everywhere. Bed was comfortable but could have used better pillows.

So nicely done throughout. Our room was compact though the view across the harbour was stunning. Breakfast was wonderful too.

Good hotel in walking distance to Train station. Was a bit annoyed that we booked a family room and they tried to put us in the standard room. Also room was overly hot… seems common in European hotels.

Great stay and great spot! Only slight slight issue was the current hotel strike in Norway so the hotel restaurant was not open (open for breakfast though, which was excellent!).

We had a wonderful stay! We came a few days before our cruise to see Bergen and Admiral was a perfect place as it was central to all of the places that I wanted to photograph. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. What a wonderful place to visit.

We had a large comfortable clean room across from Bryggen. The view was amazing and they had a small table with chairs to sit and enjoy the view with balcony doors that opened. The staff were helpful and breakfast was good with a lot of options. Would definitely stay again as it was very close to everything we needed also.

The high points for our stay was the perfect view across the water at the colorful historic buildings, the great breakfast buffet variety available each morning and the professional friendly staff. The negatives: #1 - The bathroom sink leaked below when in use (my feet became wet while brushing my teeth). No maintenance staff was available on weekends so they moved us to a similar room on a higher floor. #2!!! - curtains were nice BUT they hung down over the room heater. I was concerned enough to clearly mention this potential fire-hazzard situation to the front desk when complaining about the leaky sink. However, they informed me that all of their rooms had draperies with sheer curtains that hung down resting on top of the heater. YIKES! #3 - The 2nd floor hallways and rooms smelled musty and the mattress was much too firm to get a good night's sleep. The nice view and prime breakfast would not be enough to make me a repeat customer at the Clarion Hotel Admiral in Bergen.

I had a wonderful stay and was very impressed with the accommodation. The room was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully arranged, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the overall environment was quiet and secure. The staff were also friendly and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

Would not hesitate to recommend the Clarion Admiral. Clean room, polite helpful staff, excellent full buffet breakfast. Our room had a great view overlooking the harbour across to Bryggen wharf. Noon check-out time was very welcome although an extra half-hour for breakfast would be desirable. Being just a short 10min walk to and from the airport tram and Bryggen wharf, this hotel is the ideal choice to facilitate your visit to Bergen.

Welcoming check in, took the time to listen and respond. Spacious room with super view. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant, huge choice,fresh, tasty and relaxing.

We were welcomed by Martin, so helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent, lovely choice available. When booking this hotel it was advertised as having an American restaurant. It doesn’t! Very limited menu available for dinner so we explored out of the hotel, don’t have far to go for a wide variety of restaurants. Room very clean and toiletries were lush.

Hotel is quite a trek from the train station, so if you're dragging a suitcase in the rain across the cobbled streets, you may want to get a taxi. Our room was clean, but very small. Nowhere to put a second suitcase. Bathroom was about 2m square. Slight musty smell in the lift and the hallways. Great view from the restaurant to the Bryggen. Fair selection at breakfast, but coffee wasn't great. Overall a fairly average hotel, even though the photographs make it look better.

The breakfast and the front of house staff were amazing. The room was a little disappointing, it had no view and was very small, especially when i booked the hotel so far in advance.

Beautiful view of Bryggen. Central location. Breakfast was impeccable.
