The staff are very welcoming and helpful, no matter the hour of day. I chose to stay here because of the easy free parking, rather than looking for parking near the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The blackout curtains mostly did their job but of course, street lights leaked through the edges of the curtains so, I found having my eye mask very helpful. Otherwise, a safe and comfy stay for a single female traveller. Thank you!

Everything about this property was excellent.

Breakfast was horrible. The meat didn’t look cooked and the eggs were like play-dough. the sink plug was mouldy. The tv didn’t work (shows would freeze and lag). For the quality it should have been half the price.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. The beds were so hard we could not sleep. It felt like we were laying on rocks. Then there is a $200 deposit they hold which is almost the same price as the room. You don’t get that back for about five days. All in all not impressed

If you’re heading to Guelph, do yourself a favour and book the Comfort Inn Guelph—it’s that simple. I stayed for two days and it exceeded expectations at every turn. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, with everything exactly where you need it. The bed? Genuinely restful. The kind of sleep that makes you forget you’re in a hotel. What really stood out, though, was the service. Friendly without being overbearing, attentive without being intrusive—just consistently professional and welcoming. It felt like they actually cared that your stay was a good one. Add in the value, and it becomes an easy decision. When you can get this level of comfort, cleanliness, and service at such a reasonable price, it honestly makes you question why anyone would pay double elsewhere. Short version: reliable, comfortable, and exceptional value. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—and likely won’t stay anywhere else in Guelph.

Our room was small and dated, but reasonably clean. Breakfast was just okay. Parking good, very quiet at night, beds comfortable.

The front desk staff did not appear to be enjoying their job. Had an earbud in their ear the whole time. Was not helpful when we arrived.

The person at check in wasn’t pleasant. The rooms were small but it was clean. Breakfast was very basic.

The room was clean and comfortable at an affordable price. Staff was helpful and always friendly (especially Karol). Breakfast was ok but was same sausage and scrambled eggs every morning. No sign of any construction as in previous reviews.

This Comfort Inn seemed new it was very clean the staff were amazing from the front desk to the kitchen staff asking if I needed everything every morning…I will be staying here again if I’m in the area
