Very happy with our stay. Great location with lots of food options and shopping only a block away. Loved how close it was to 404 but didn't really hear the highway too much. The room was nicely updated. The shower pressure was amazing. Had nice outdoor area with gazebo, picnic tables and newer bbq to use.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Rooms were nicely furnished and the bed was comfy.

Problem with soundproofing. No seal around door to room. Light and noise gets through.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. A little out of the way and hard to find. Very much worth the stay.

It is very difficult to carry suitcases etc. up the stairs as there isn’t an elevator. The rooms were clean. I did not eat breakfast, so no comment on breakfast.

I booked this room for my parents. While I understand the need for cancellation policies there should be some humanity when considering whether or not to provide a refund. My parents needed a room as they their dog was gravely ill and it was understood that they would require at least one night's stay, and likely more. One night was booked. In a heartbreaking turn of events, Ben, their dog passed away. They could not stand the thought of staying in the city, so they attended the property and explained the situation. The on duty desk staff told them that they would get a full refund. This was not the case and the card was charged. I followed up with Expedia who assured me that they would 'deal with the situation'. Well, this is the response: Property name: Comfort Inn Newmarket - Aurora Thanks for contacting Expedia. We are so sorry to hear you are going through this difficult time. After contacting the property, they’ve decided to uphold the original cancellation policy and have declined the waiver request. We understand this may be disappointing. Hotels often have strict policies in place, and unfortunately, there’s nothing else we can do in this case. Ultimately, the hotel was dishonest and now will not honour the refund. I certainly will never stay there again, and I hope this review might have you consider as well.

Clean rooms, without carpet(which is a plus in our book). Breakfast was traditional hotel breakfast food. There were picnic tables and a barbecue outside which was a nice touch. It’s a good clean basic hotel, nothing extraordinary but good for a few nice.

The room was clean and nice. The staff at the front desk were polite mannerly and efficient. The problem was the noise levels from people in the hallways and in the rooms. There were children screaming and loud TV 's and music. I believe children were left alone in the room next to me and they kept trying to get into my room through the adjoining doors. The noise did not stop until about midnight. I will never stay at this hotel in the future. I am wondering if you have people living full time in these rooms.

Some spots in our room didn’t seem to be thoroughly cleaned, otherwise a nice stay.
