The problem with this very clean, updated and well decorated hotel with its good breakfast was it had no elevator and no luggage carts. The first floor rooms go quickly. When we arrived at 7:00 pm on a Tuesday in a slow July week, we got the last first floor room. We booked through Expedia, and there was no option to reserve a first floor room and no notice that there was no elevator or luggage carts. Therefore some people might find they have paid for a room that is in fact inacessible.

When our reservation was booked, on the phone through Expedia I was advised we would be on the 2nd floor. I asked if there was a ground floor room, the agent advised no, the hotel is busy. When we arrived to check in, I asked my husband to check if there was a room available on the ground floor, low and be hold the attendant was able to accommodate us. I was very happy as I have Mutiple Sclerosis, and not stable. We were able to park in front of our room, which helped unloading our car, and loading the car at time of leave. Our television converter wasn't turning the television on. Called the front desk to advise, the attendant came right away with a new converter, tried the converter and the television turned right on. All staff were very pleasant, and greeted everyone with a hello, or smile. Room was quiet heard nothing. We would stay again

The room was very comfortable, clean and well-maintained. The staff were great. They were friendly and helpful when I asked for a change of rooms to the first floor. Breakfast was EXCELLENT! I have stayed in a number of hotels over the years and the breakfasts are frequently sub-par but this was exceptional. The eggs were tasty, the sausage patties were very good, and everything was laid out in a logical manner. The coffee was not great but it was OK. If I have one complaint, it was the parking lot. It badly needs to be torn up and repaved. However it was only a very minor sour note to an otherwise excellent stay. I have stayed in all three hotels in Chatham in the last two years and this was head and shoulders above the other two. Well done!

parking was provide and convenient. we did not eat breakfast here as the room was crowded and not enough seating, plus the hours were very early and closed early, 9:30am.

Rooms were clean and well stocked. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were stopping in Chatham for the night on a road trip of southwestern Ontario and I remembered that we had stayed here a couple years ago. As I remembered the beds were comfy, staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was great (cinnamon apple waffle machine!!!) definitely will be back next time I’m in the area

It’s a little dated, room smelled a little funky. Breakfast included but it’s not great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My wife is severely mobility challenged. The staff were responsive to our needs throughout our three day stay. BUT most outstanding was the effort a staff member made to help us settle in when we first arrived. He opened the outside patio door so she could walk directly into our accommodation. He made sure we were safely ensconced and comfortable. Everything else about the accommodation was excellent, but the staff's caring was extraordinary.

The only thing missing was a pool. Great staff. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Have stayed here before and will continue each time I pass through!

Everything was very nice and easy.

One night stay. Room was clean. Lots of soap/shampoo/conditioner and lotion in the bathroom. White fluffy towels. Beds are comfy. Ample free parking. Good breakfast, with breads/bagels, jams, nut butters, cream cheese, sausages and scrambled eggs. Hardboiled eggs and also a cereal station. You can make your own waffles. Juice and coffee. Small fitness room, well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff

The room and the grounds were excellent! Had a great rest, breakfast was wonderful! The beds were absolutely comfortable!! Great stay and the staff were lovely.
