Great location, friendly staff, was there during remodel so some things (restaurant/bar) were closed)

I would recommend the castle hotel to everyone. Lovely hotel, great location and the staff were so friendly and helpful. On arrival to the hotel, I went to check in, and found I’d booked the wrong date, I was a week early. Expedia did nothing whatsoever to help me, apart from try to charge me the same price of the room again, to change my booking, even though I spend £1000s through them every year. It was my mistake, but I found Expedias response to the situation very disappointing. However, the lady on reception and someone from the reservations team…. I can’t remember either of their names, did everything they could to help and even got me a refund on the room that I incorrectly booked and I can’t thank them enough. If you ever stay in Windsor, then make sure you stay here

Excellent Hotel

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and important. David took our bags without hesitation, and the young lady on reception was an absolute Oracle for local things. Stanford was perfect as he looked after my parents' needs. Everything was perfect for a wonderful New Year stay. And actually it was our wedding night, so everything was perfect. Great location, rooms are very spacious and the staff overall was very attentive and accommodating. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Windsor.

Comfortable and well priced stay for new years celebrations

Excellent accommodation, great staff, fantastic location, tight car park. Slight inconvenience due to renovations but the staff were very helpful.

Room was lovely, shame the restaurant and bar were not open due to a refurbishment, cant wait to see the hotel when its had the refurbishment

Excellent, friendly and professional

Great location. They were able to accommodate an early check in after a redeye which was much appreciated. Rooms are a bit dated and have a damp smell. While they did notify us they were under renovation, which I appreciated, it would be helpful to other guests if they convey that most rooms are outside the building and you have a bit of a walk to carry them. This includes narrow stairs. We are pretty fit and in our 40s and would have been concerned if our older relatives would have been with us during this part of our trip. It’s a lovely town and we hope to return to see the renovations so we can give it another chance.

Great breakfast and very friendly staff

Most of hotel under reconstruction but the greed left them let few rooms at the back I booked the hotel for experience including hotel lounge facilities, cafe and sitting areas. All of these ar unavailable Rooms at the back Entrance at the car park On top still charge 30£ for car park and breakfast Rubbish service Not really the castle experience that leisure traveller is hoping for. Holiday in or other 3 star would have given up a bed to tuck in.

Close to public transportation, very clean, lovely staff, quiet. The renovation did not affect our stay at all. We didn’t even notice it.
