Wonderful experience, loved it so much. Hope to go back one day!

No air conditioning. Very hard to sleep or spend any time in the room. Food only ok. Chicken kiev overcooked. Soup was watery. More like a broth. Views amazing.

Beautiful. Nothing to improve

The picture promises a beautiful sand beach and the write up describes “Sun loungers” leading me to believe the property had a sand beach on site. The sand beach is 1.8 km from the property. There were no Sun loungers outdoors to be found. The indoor space was beautiful. I wish they would have focused on what they have (lovely indoor public spaces and spacious rooms) rather than posting a picture of a beach that is not easily accessible.

Great location, spacious rooms and really good breakfast choice. Lovely grounds with fabulous views, would definitely stay again.

The room size was great and the bathroom shower was spacious. The restaurant and bar on site were incredible, very well priced! The service was great. Breakfast in the morning always came with an incredible view and a ton of options. Will definitely be staying here again when we come back along with recommending it to all our friends

The front desk staff is wonderful, particularly Shawn who carried my two heavy suitcases all the way to my room, and Cian who fetched two water bottles for us as we were leaving because we’d slept through breakfast and my daughter was thirsty. But backtracking to “carried my two heavy suitcases” for a moment, it was necessary because the property has no lift (elevator) but it does have a central staircase and then there were a couple of other smaller staircases on the way to our room. The room itself was clean, comfortable, quiet and clearly newly renovated. Lovely view! I kept the drapes open as long as possible for the water views, as well as the parklike setting. The only issue we had beyond the lack of a lift was dicey service at the restaurant (for dinner, not breakfast); one member of our group was not served her entree when all the rest were served, but the server seemed oblivious (and didn’t check with us about the meals either) nor did she bring the second round of drinks some ordered until well after the late arriving meal. Odd because the pub wasn’t busy, but maybe they were short staffed and she was also working across the hall at the restaurant? In any case, manager made it right with the person who waited for her meal, so no star deduction.

Check in is “guaranteed” at 4pm. Our room was not ready at 4 and we were told it would be ready “soon” and they took our number and said they would call. After 1 hour, we went to check and the room was ready and had been for some time. A few days later, we left a sign on the door in the morning when we headed out for the day at 9am. We returned, after a long day out, at 8pm to find the room hadn’t been cleaned. It was like pulling teeth to get clean towels, which is all we wanted. Nice location but would definitely look for better options next time.

Excellent stay. Staff very helpful. Swimming pool lovely annd excellent breakfast. Only thing that could improve stay would be selection on day/evening menus.

Overall this is a great place. The views are dynamite. The eating options are very good. Loved that the resort was directly on the coast. It seemed to be a place where locals vacationed-loved that. There are just a few exterior wall conditions that need to be addressed. It was clear that this an older resort but thats ok as it is a phenominal location. I would return in a heartbeat.

Excellent staff

The Hotel is a wedding venue. Absolutely beautiful. 20 minutes outside of Galway. It is directly on the beach, but it is not to swim, just for views and breezes. It rained the days we were there. We couldn’t play tennis, but we used the pool, steam room and sauna. TV was good service. Ate several meals there which were excellent, and they served one of the best breakfasts of our stay in Ireland with many options.

The hotel is right on the Connemara coast and makes for a great getaway. It is about a 20 minute drive west from Galway. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast services were both fantastic. I would stay there again.

The stay was perfect! Great staff, very clean, and spacious rooms. The only critique if there was one at all is the wifi did not reach our room, but the lobby had great connection. Overall we would definitely be back and recommend this for anyone wanting a beautiful hotel on the coast!

Room not available on arrival for 'guaranteed 'availability at 4pm for dinner we're offered a table at access door unruly children going in and out our orders both starters and mains were wrong eventually had to speak to manager ordered room service breakfast our order card was lost hence no breakfast arrived had to ring to get it delivered arrived cold no salt or pepper
