La ubicacion del hotel es muy buena, sin embargo la habitacion en muy mal estado, no servia el desagüe de la regadera y por lo tanto el agua se estancaba en todo el piso del baño. Al pedir ayuda a recepcion me llevaron una cubeta y un trapeador para que yo lo limpiara, cuando dije que yo no lo limpiaria por que yo pague por un servicio de hotel, la persona en recepcion se porto poco amigable y me dijo que mantenimiento no llegaba hasta el siguiente dia y que tenia que esperar. Al pedir que me movieran de habitacion, se negaron argumentando que yo no quise aceptar el trapeador y la cubeta para limpiar el agua. Esa noche no pude hacer uso del inodoro y al intentar usar el lavamanos para hacearme, tuve que entrar entre el agua estancada. Al siguiente dia en la mañana el agua seguia estancada, pedi hablar con el manager y me dijeron que no llegaba hasta las 10:00am. Yo tenia mi vuelo programado para ese dia y tenia que dejar el hotel a las 9:00am. NO RECOMENDARIA ESTE HOTEL A NADIE. PESIMO SERVICIO DEL PERSONAL Y LA HABITACION EN MUY MAL ESTADO. espero esta reseña sirva para futuras personas que quieran visitar este hotel.

Best western majestic made our visit the Mexico City even more memorable. They were very kind, respectful, and understanding towards all of our questions and concerns. We had an issue with the drain in our bath tub and the staff made sure it was addressed immediately. The rooftop restaurant and bar had an amazing view of El Zocalo which was one of the reasons we booked with them. The 2nd floor lounge was very relaxing to be in. the location of the hotel was ideal for what we wanted to do. They offered many tours and suggested many activities. It was outside the control of the hotel, but there were protests during our stay which made entry and exit to the surrounding area difficult. The staff were well aware and made us feel safe and kept us up to date with everything that was happening. With the protests, it was a little difficult getting picked up by Uber and taxis due to the road closures, but again, that was outside the control of the hotel. When it was time to check out, they offered to bring our luggage down to the taxis that they ordered for us. Overall, very happy with our stay.

Clean room and good staff

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 35 years. It is a wonderful location. It is an older property which appeals to me. It is decorated with talavera tiles which I find very attractive. It has no "glitz" factor. If you want stainless steel and granite this is not your property. It you need 5 stars this is not your property. If you want a great location, a helpful staff, a clean location and good food this is a very good fit.

As part of the Best Western hotel franchise, you assume seeing a standard of quality as a hotel. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly but the hotel needs some serious renovation. Interior painting needed throughout the hotel, high rise decor was dusty, floral plants in the lobby needed to be replaced, more lighting needed in the hallways and vintage furniture needs updating but hacienda aura was there...it just cleaning and maintenance. Needs to be updated. Location ideal.

I love the location of the hotel, if you cant sleep with noise this is not a hotel for you. The beds are in bad shape they grind and croocked.

NO AC! Do not stay here during the warmer months because they don’t have any AC and it gets hot

La alfonbra de el cuarto estaba rompida se mirava muy mal

I was prepared to come home and write an okay review however upon unpacking at home I discovered that money I hid inside my luggage was stolen. There was no way this was slipped out or lost because it was inside a wallet that was carefully hidden. On Saturday, April 4, 2026, while leaving the hotel that morning the attendant in the elevator told us the area would be extremely busy all day and that he suggested we stay out all day to avoid the congestion of people. He was very persuasive. At the time we found it helpful but now we can’t help but think this was a plot. This is extremely disappointing! I have contacted the hotel but I’m certain nothing will be done to rectify this. TRAVELER BEWARE! They obviously employ thieves at this hotel!

Great location. But hotel run down and old. Better choices in area for comparable rate. Terrace dining is the highlight of the hotel. It overlooks the Zocalo.Food horrible.Avoid the buffet. Wait staff not friendly or attentive. Very, very noisy. Hard to sleep.I wouldn’t stay here again.

The overall rating of three stars is generous. This very very old building was turned into a hotel in the 1930s. Charming? Maybe, but it seemed like many things were not updated since then. I don’t even know where to start. It also varies by room. I know this because we had to switch rooms. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. The noise from the Zócalo seemed to be never-ending. But if you want a great location in the middle of everything, stay here.

Es un hotel VIEJO y con falta de mantenimiento, limpio con toallas MUY PERCUDIDAS, el taxi te deja en la esquina y a caminar con todo y maletas tanto al llegar como al salir porque es una calle peatonal, la ubicación para el centro y zona arqueológica excelente pero las habitaciones MUY ruidosas.

This hotel is in the best place, in the middle of everything. You can see the zocalo and the cathedral from your room. It is a bit older but that is part of the charm. There are so many iconic things to do around there and so close by. You can walk to many places. Location, location, location.
