Great location

Kind of a weird experience. Pool is apparently accessible to everyone, even non-hotel guests? We were told we had to book the pool in advance, then were told we couldn’t sit on the couches. Then at night there were people using the pool that obviously non-hotel guests and when we asked they said non-guests can pay $40 to book a poolside table and anyone can come and use the pool…? Overall it was ok, definitely not worth the $350 a night. And next time I’ll stay somewhere cheaper and just walk in and use the pool for free

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The beds were very comfortable, the location was excellent, and the food and drinks were both delicious. Unfortunately, there were a few disappointing aspects, especially considering the price of the hotel. The pool area was consistently overcrowded, our room had ripped headboards, and the toilet was broken. When we brought these issues to the front desk, we felt the initial response was somewhat dismissive. For a hotel of this caliber, we expected the room to be better maintained. While the staff did eventually offer us one complimentary breakfast as a gesture, it felt a bit underwhelming given the concerns we experienced. Overall, the hotel has many great qualities, but the room maintenance and customer service could be improved to better match the premium price point.

Staff was amazing and the pool was awesome.

Walking distance to some great restaurants and the Calgary Tower. Everything went well. No complaints

Our room was clean and maintained. Many in our party had issues in their rooms that were cosmetic. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job. The pool was over crowded and not child friendly during a Saturday in the summer - much more party vibes then swimming vibes. Check in and check out was efficient, the front desk staff was ok nothing special.

This is my second time at this hotel. On the plus side, the bedroom was updated and clean, is soundproof and has a very comfy bed. But I am not a fan or the glass enclosure for the toilet and shower next to bed and I wish we didn’t have to drag our suitcases up stairs from the underground parking and on our floor.

The policy of opening the pool to non-hotel guest for a fee creates an environment materially different than the tranquil pool setting advertised on the website. We found the pool scenes to be more like a Las Vegas spring break pool scene with there being no openings to sit at the pool on the day of arrival. While we were advised that it is recommended to make a reservation at the pool, we were not told they give our spot away after 15 minutes if we are running late. We found the police to be very inhospitable to hotel guests.

If you love a quick dunk in a pool this is the place! Full service bar poolside and the hotel is nearby all you can dream of for food and entertainment! Clean and large rooms with awesome Balcony views. Will be back soon!

Staff were great.

An excellent location for this high end boutique hotel. It’s close to shops, rests and bars, and very walkable. Staff was excellent, especially the valet Michael. The outdoor pool with food and bar service is an incredible amenity and experience. We upgraded to a suite and had turn down service, which was a nice touch we weren’t expecting. I highly recommend this hotel!

The positives: Very good location, warm welcome and a strong team at the front desk in service and guest interaction. The attendees in the hotel restaurant were also very friendly and responsive and breakfast was very good. The negative: The pool, the ability to manage such that guest have adequate access because they open the pool to non-paying guests for a fee. The result is the afternoon pool scene with a DJ looks more like what you might expect in Vegas or at a Club Med vacation in the Caribbean v the tranquil picture on the website.

My husband and I stayed one night for the stampede. We LOVED the pool. It is a restaurant poolside and it definitely makes this hotel stand out. Comfortable bed, clean room, and construction site was our view so not too glamorous. Very friendly and helpful staff! Thank you!!
