Attentive staff and awesome dining facility. Beautiful quiet place.

The Gamboa is in a wonderful location where you cannot help but spot caiman, sloths, monkeys and last, but not least, an incredibly diverse range of birds. Combine this with all you might need for friendly staff in their scenic bar and restaurants and you have something to treasure.

The resort is older but quite nice. We did enjoy the tours but the food in the bar was terrible and there was a power outage for most of the night, which made it hard with young kids.

The room was large, nice hammock on the balcony. Cocktails watered down. Grounds beautiful. The hotel has buses of tourists that arrive daily. It would be a fun place for kids because of the large pool.

Truly fantastic

The staff were very pleasant but the hotel is very disorganised. Many seemed to have had little or no training and were completely relying on a few experienced colleagues.

Beautiful rooms and grounds. Love ❤️ the nature around the resort.

My family didn’t have a positive experience

The main attraction of this place is the nature that surrounds it. This includes the wildlife and vegetation that is part of the rainforest. The hotel, unfortunately is in need of updates and maintenance; the staff providing the service are willing to assist, however they lack the skills needed. This is evident in the restaurants and the tours they offer, which are well sought after.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The night tour was also fun. The rooms and facility are dated outside of the lobby. It does have a nice pool and garden area, but facilities need some updating.

The whole thing was a tourist trap. The tours had no value, the food was terrible. Everything disorganized and the resort doesn’t look like the pictures.

There was a wide variety of food to choose from. We ate while viewing toucans flying through the forest. Amazing!

My room was flooded the first day. The second room had very poor sound proofing. Could hear the people listening to the TV in the next room or snoring. Staff however are lovely and very hard working

Beautiful place to stay for one night. A little over priced for Panama but the service and the food were excellent.

Room clean and bed comfortable. Excellent view from balcony and great hammock to admire it from. Air conditioning up to the climate. Lots of activities on site and places to explore. Fantastic bird life and lots of animals easily seen. Staff pleasant and helpful with most speaking English. Free night safari with room but would highly recommend the other trips. Food good at restaurant and monkey bar. There is a shop for souvenirs and a stand for snacks/soft drinks
