First let me say I’m sad to give a bad review because there are so many things right about the hotel. Location is great, breakfast is good, room is clean and one of best showers encountered on euro trip. Staff was very friendly and would be my new go to hotel in Venice with the exception of the pillows. They were like two thin bags of cement. Hardest I’ve ever encountered, so called the desk late at night asking for softer ones and they sent up two more of the same. They came quickly and if you like very hard pillows this is a perfect hotel for all the reasons mentioned above but if you don’t and a good nights sleep is important to you then probably not the right place.

Room bedsheets n pillow cases were not changed during our 4 nite stay. Requested for higher floor more than 6 months ago not granted. Had to put up with noise and rooms are poorly sound proof. Breakfast can be improved.

Breakfast was good, limited variety but more than good enough. Staff were always polite and welcoming. Room was in perfect condition, lots of space and the hotel is in a perfect location.

The soundproofing wasn’t good. Every night I heard a loud conversation from other room.

Beautiful room, great view of the canal. Staff efficient, kitchen staff friendly. Vaporetti to and from the airport is very convenient. Great location near St Marks. The canal occasionally stinks. Certainly this is out of their control but it’s still a fact.

The hotel is very well situated, just round the corner from St Marks Square. And has its own river taxi stop. The decor is a little tired, the breakfast definitely needs improving. Our room on the top floor was full of mosquitos and we were covered in bites the next morning, this was in late October! Walls were very thin too.

Please send another word of praise to the early morning desk staff on 10/28 who assisted me with my luggage to the 0400 taxi stop I was totally grateful

We loved our stay here. The service is top notch and there is someone at the front desk at all times, which we appreciated. The included breakfast was a nice touch, a rarity in Italy. Lots of different options and delicious, too. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Keep your windows closed though, because there are many mosquitos in Venice!

Convenient location close to Piazza San Marco. Room was basic but adequate and clean.

Hotel location was great, but hotel was overpriced for what you get. Rooms and the hotel are quite old. Staff are friendly and polite. Breakfast was not the best, would suggest going to nearby cafés. Overall good location and great for 1- 2 days

Fantastic location with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Convenient walking distance to major attractions, public transport, and shopping areas. Easy access to the water taxi, which offers a scenic and stress-free way to arrive and depart.

This hotel is in a great location. Our room overlooked a canal. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

We had a wonderful experience here while in Florence. Lots of great amenities. The front desk was outstanding!! Got a taxi when needed and gave suggestions for dinner!

Beautiful well appointed hotel with welcoming and helpful staff. Great location just a few minutes walk from St Mark's Square. Junior Suite with Canal View room was spacious with lovely view of canal. Highly recommend!
