The location is great, easy to walk around the attractions and lots of restaurants around. The roof top swimming pool and lounge area is very nice but the opening hours is not very long. We are hoping to watch sunset on the roof, but sunset is 9:30pm and it closes at 9pm. Breakfast is expensive considering it is only continental, nearby has local restaurants and lots of cafe. But over all our stay is great. I will recommend it.

What an absolutely fabulous hotel!!! We were so pleasantly surprised at how spacious and modern the room was. The beds were comfortable, the shower was divine, and it was truly spotless. Not to mention the terrace we had! A great option for families who want to stay together but still need the room. I have to also mention that he staff was also so helpful, professional, and welcoming as well-- muchisimas gracias Domingo! We will recommend this hotel to ANYONE visiting Barcelona in the future, I already can't wait to stay here again!

Ubicacion

Room was very clean, and staff accommodated us well. Rooftop was clean. Gym was small and hard to find, but still did the job. Did not try the breakfast but the bar looked clean as well. Wish there was refillable water station or even a coffee bar. Highly recommend Astoria nonetheless

Very friendly people, always in disposition to help. Very clean and comfortable. Good walking distance restaurants around the hotel, and 12 minutes walking away from Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, and Casa Museu Amatller.

Perfect location. Staff very helpful and friendly! Beautiful historic lobby and public rooms with fascinating permanent art exhibit. Rooms are okay (AC works well).

There's a bar for tinto de verano and cafe con leche when needed. The bathtub is weirdly shaped so its hard to shower comfortably.

En general el hotel estaba en perfecto estado nuestro habitación muy limpio todo en perfecto estado nos encantó que teníamos Una terracita privada y la terraza del último piso donde tiene muy Bella Vista. El vecindario parecía muy seguro y también cercano a la avenida Diagonal y algunas atracciones que pudimos ir caminando, En general puntos a FAVOR, muy buena elección.

Buena ubicación, cerca a lugar para cenar y salir de noche, además de metro y transporte público. Limpio y con todo lo necesario para tu estancia.

Poor breakfast but good location

Overall, our 5-night stay in hotel Astoria was excellent and would definitely stay again. Check in and out was really easy and handy to have 24/7 reception for early/late arrivals. Staff were very friendly and happy to give recommendations. The rooms were very clean and tidy with nice touches. The tiniest improvement to the rooms would be a little coffee/tea area but there was a fridge with water and drinks which was great. Really good location, in a quiet spot with lot's of lovely cafes, bars, restaurants and amazing bakeries with just a short walk onto the main road in Barcelona with the two Gaudi attractions. There is a metro 5-10min walk away, which was perfect for travelling to other parts of the city. Highly recommend.
