Staff was very helpful. The room maintenance needs a renovation. There was a big stain on the carpet outside the bathroom. Bathroom door paint was peeling and wood was crack.

Great location, walking distance to many restaurants. Underground parking. And good pick up drop off area for rides.

The hotel is accessible to the subway, and several restaurants nearby. The staff was so nice, room was clean, and area of hotel is perfect. Definitely will be staying at this hotel going forward for future visits. Also, they have underground parking.

We didn’t take full advantage of hotel but what we did use was nearly perfect for our stay while attending VELD!

I took some pictures of our room that included mould in the bathroom, a rip in the duvet cover, a very curt, front desk personnel, and our room was not ready for the appropriate time. I would actually like someone to respond and I would like a refund. I’m also happy to upload pictures.

We stayed at the Novotel in North York from June 25-28th. Everyone from the front desk staff, the housekeeping ladies and servers in the restaurant were so very friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will certainly stay there again when we go back to Toronto.

Everything was ok...nothing glaringly wrong. The room was relatively clean, the bathroom was also clean, but the grout between the tiles could be a little cleaner. A small microwave would be nice as there is nowhere to be able to reheat food, not even a microwave in the common area. The location is excellent though. The line 1 subway is located below the same building, so you can literally get to Eaton Centre and any other station on that line without having to step outside. Sheppard-Yonge mall is one subway stop away. Lots of food options all around. Shoppers, Dollarama etc are short walk away. You can't go wrong with the location. I would stay there again just for that.

I had an amazing stay in July 2026 at Novotel Toronto North York. Room is huge with an amazing wall design. Sheets are clean and smells good. The room smells good. Location is perfect for shopping, cinema, good restaurants and the nearby event place where we performed is just a few minutes walk. Hotel employees from the time I checked in to my check out are friendly, respectful and helpful - with a ready smile always. The amenities are very good and there is a restaurant at the main floor that serves good food with friendly staff. Overall rating: 101% and will stay there again when I come back to Toronto soon.

I booked the hotel for my parents. They love the great location near the subway, cinema, and restaurants. It's more relaxed than downtown, with a modern, clean hotel and friendly staff. I highly recommend it, and my parents will likely stay here again when they visit me.
