Just be aware it’s a fiver to use the pool.

Food was terrible

Booked through expedia. When I arrived you were then informed that you had to pay extra for the pool and parking. I have never in all my years of travel had to pay for access to the gym, pool and to park. Further this was not flagged when booking. Then there were mistakes on the bill with breakfast being charged when I didn't have it. I paid for pool access reluctantly to then be turned back at the pool as my kids weren't old enough. Overall the hotel was a good standard but it felt you were being scammed as everything was an extra. Very disappointed in the Village and would need convincing to return as hidden charges is like Ryan air

Good stay

First off, the staff were great, very helpful etc so no grumbles with them. The air con, not so much. Completely overwhelmed by the hot weather we're having and the supplied (in request) fans, hmm, just pushing hot air around the room. Also not massively impressed with being forced to provide an email address to check in. I booked through hotels.com, thats my point of contact. My parents don't have an email address, what would they do. . .sleep outside maybe?

Air con broken in 30 degree heat, they didn’t do anything about it. Long wait times for food at the restaurant (expensive as well)

Very helpful young lady at the desk Immediately changed my room when I reported the air con was not working. the young lady at the bar who recommended food for me at the end of a long day when I was very hungry and the guy who delivered it to my table outside . All very very well done. The young ones can get a bad rap but these guys were a great team ! Thankyou !

Bedrooms are hotter than the sun. No aircon. Bathrooms are unbearable. No fresh towels during our stay, no additional toilet roll. Staff were great.

Staff were moderately helpful on arrival. I was sold a stay package which I thought was a food discount at restaurant for our arrival night. When checking out advised nothing to pay only to receive an invoice statement later that day for 3 nights of stay package at £50 per night. Breakfast was average to good as was the evening meal. Parking on site was reasonable though at times very busy.

Staff helpful throughout short stay

Check in was nice and simple. We booked a family double room and it was very spacious. Bathroom was very clean too.

Sound proofing isn’t the best and the room is very basic for 4 star. Staff were lovely and helpful. Really disappointed I had the pay extra for the car park though.

Everything was clean ,the air conditioning was not working ,just blowing air ownly,the layout of the room could do with a better design ,ie.another chair .a bench to rest the case on instead of on the floor,the lighting was very dark over the small brewing table

Great overnight stay, loved the pool!

Check in was a little slow but staff were friendly and apologetic once we were seen. Self check in didn't seem to work for us. Otherwise all good.

A lovely stay. The floor we were on was undermconsteuction and the

Air conditioning did not work but the room was really hot, you couldn't open the windows apart from a crack due to safety locks so hotel room was really hot. Building works on my floor so the area smelt of paint, coming down the stairs from floor 2 the paint isn't finished off needs all cutting in.
