When we arrived there was a wedding on so we were given a lovely big quiet corner room well away from the festivities which was thoughtful. Good breakfast

Stayed here for a 8 days as it was the venue for my daughter’s wedding. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Health club attached which was a good addition as it helped with relaxation.

We were not allowed to check in at the front desk. We had to sit on our car and check in with our phones, then wait in our cars. This is not good customer service.

Our 1st room was full of mold. They were unable to move us that night as there was a concert nearby. This room was reserved under Cosmos Tours. We had also reserved for 2 extra nights at the same hotel at over $800.00 that felt like a 1 star hotel. They did send someone up to clean the mold from the wall. The chair in the room was stained, carpet was filthy looking. Two plastic hangers were left in closet. No wooden ones like most places. So unfortunately we did have to stay in that room for the night, I'm sure the party people wouldn't have noticed. The next morning, I talked to our tour guide and he said this was unheard of as this place has always been good. The Manageress just happened to stop by as I was leaving and the tour guide told her...he came and found me and said we would be moved ASAP.. We had a full day booked and when we came back we did have a new room.. room was in better condition. The first room was then officially closed for further renovations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food at the hotel restaurant/bar could use a refresher also. Unfortunately where the hotel is located nothing is close by so it's your only choice unless you want to g out again. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

The room and amenities were very good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Only reason for 4 stars is I felt it seemed like it could use an upgrade. Especially with the carpets, However, I would stay here again.

To start, the pictures shown are not the condition of the hotel. It must be the day they first opened many years ago. Carpeting had ripples in our room and some dirt stains. The pool was not in service due to a repair needed. The shower water barely trickled out of the showerhead, on the 3rd floor which was our room, which became almost unusable. The elevator only goes to the second floor, and we had to walk upstairs with our large suitcases. Most of the items in the bar area for dinner were not available. Had two pizzas which were OK at best- the cheese pizza had absolutely no taste. I would rate this hotel equal to a 30 year-old motel 6. Approx 5 miles to the airport which we needed at the time due to a flight being canceled and everybody rushing to make local hotel reservations. No I would never stay here again. I am surprised Leonardo hotels allows this condition to operate under their name. Definitely needs updates especially if they’re asking $250+ pounds per night.

We had a nice stay. We were there two nights and three days. The bed was comfortable and big, which was lovely. The room was a little dated. We were thankful for the floor fan that was provided. The view from our room was gorgeous! The bathroom was small but the water was hot. We stayed on the 3rd floor and had to take the stairs up the last floor which was a little difficult with our luggage. We appreciated the staff. They were very kind and helpful. We were not very impressed with the food in the restaurant. The prices were a little higher than expected. Overall it was a lovely stay.

We stayed after running Edinburgh Marathon on 24th May, the man on reception that evening went above and beyond to help and accommodate us, 10/10 service when we really needed it, I would highly recommend this hotel just from our interactions with him. Nothing we asked was too much trouble, amazing service.

I’ve stayed in 2 other Leonardo hotels however this one wasn’t so great, the 2 bedside lamps weren’t working and hotel was old a lot of cracks in the doors and walls. We also didn’t have a very good experience one morning we had a guy peeing outside our bedroom door, I know this wouldn’t happen to all guests but it happed to us and that made our stay unpleasant. However location is good close to Edinburgh zoo.

The hotel was great. We added the breakfast and enjoyed it. But be warned although my email said breakfast is served until 10 they kind of get annoyed when you show up at 9:45 (we slept in our second day since we were getting used to the time change). The carpet is very 1970s. Other than that our stay was great

An enjoyable stay at the Leonardo Murrayfield. Perfect for a few days. The reception staff were lovely, warm and helpful during check in and check out. Really good public transport options from the hotel into town. Good gym facility. However, the restaurant had a couple of items on the menu that were not available on the evening we chose to dine in that limited pescaterian options (e.g. no salmon)

I found the restaurant was only open until 9.30pm & the bar shut at the same time & the menu very limited.
