The Sandman was wonderful ! The room was clean, beds and pillows comfortable, and close to shopping. The pool was welcomed since it was 30 degrees celsius while we were there. The pool was also clean, well maintained, and lots of towels.

The staff really made our stay top shelf. We feel like we made new friends, and for that we will make this our goto place in the future.

We enjoyed our beautiful King room - Quiet, clean and very comfy bed and pillows. The best part of our stay however was front desk staff, particularly Zaidee and her manager. Both incredibly friendly, and i very much appreciated how outwardly supportive of his staff the manager was. He knew he had great staff and complimented them in front of the guests - really well done

We arrived at 4:00 pm. We were told room not ready& come back in hr. We went out & came back after an hr. We went in room & the bathroom floor was sticky & tub dirty! The sheets did not smell clean. I don’t think room was cleaned at all! My husband & I had to clean tub & sink. I slept on top of sheets. We wanted to use the hot tub as it was closed unfortunately. Very disappointed with stay!

Staff was amazing, and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms on highway side, the road noise is too much for me. Will stay again but request room on the back side of hotel

We have stayed many times over the years at the Quesnel Sandman. We appreciate the friendliness of the front desk staff. The room this time was really nice and recently renovated. Glad we booked our stay this time again. Only possible negative was the pool and hottub. The pool was super cold (I would prefer a bit heated and the hottub smelled odd and broke down the first night we stayed and was out of order the rest of the stay but not a big deal for us.
