We where very disappointed that the coffee shop and gift shop where closed for are entire stay also not one outdoor fire pit was lit and only one restaurant was open we come every February for my wife's birthday and may not be returning

Spacious room. Great view. Lots of unique guest services like winter sports equipment and a shuttle. Only one tiny hot tub for such a huge resort, not very hygienic. No fan in the bathroom. Rooms not cleaned or anything for a short stay, which is fine, but no way to get dry towels or coffee without going to the main building (which in extreme cold is more annoying). Beautiful resort, just a bit quirky for the price.

Loved the room, and the amenities are awesome for kids! (And adults ie, spa, lobby bar ect) Will 10/10 come back. My 5 year old daughter and I stayed 1 night during the week. It was on the quieter side. We would have stayed an extra night but they were fully booked. Great family resort!

I recently returned from at Deerhurst Resort, and it was exactly what I needed to recharge. The staff were courteous, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about the guest experience without being intrusive. The cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable. Whether it was the rooms, the fitness center and pool, or the common lounge areas, everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made it very easy to relax and feel at home. I was impressed by the quality of the resort dining. The menus offered everything from fresh, locally sourced Mediterranean-style dishes to more indulgent fare, all prepared with obvious skill. Lastly, the activity options are fantastic, even for winter. There’s a perfect balance here—you can find high-energy activities such as cross country skiiing and skating and excursions, or quiet, serene spaces if you just need to unplug. I left feeling significantly better than when I arrived. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone needing a top-tier getaway.

My entire experience with Expedia was horrible. Will not book through them again. We booked to stay at deerhurst, my family came down with a flu bug and we’re not able to travel. I called Deerhurst who said I had to go through Expedia. I spoke to a representative and asked if we could get a refund or a credit to switch our stay. The representative made it seem as though this would not be an issue, told me not to contact Expedia they would take care of it and i would hear in 24 hours. I received multiple emails from different reps, over 3 days that they were working on this and to not contact them. They reported no one at deerhurst was answering. I find this hard to believe. By this time my stay had come and gone. I received an email yesterday saying sorry nothing could be done. I could tell from the email the representatives did not know my situation, they had suggested I call deerhurst resort to see about changing my booking. My scheduled stay had already passed- I didn’t contact deerhurst, as they directed me not to. I understood when calling there may have been anything they could do, they let me on to believe they could assist with this one time issue. We’ve booked through Expedia before I was surprised at the total lack of customer service/poor management of this situation. Do better Expedia. I will take my money elsewhere thanks!

It was a nice little getaway in the winter. We liked the winter activities like snow shoeing and skating. We didn't like having to always drive back to our room every time. Overall nice stay with little activities to keep the kids entertained.

Staff was lovely, restaurant was very nice. Room spacious and clean with a nice view. Downside was a large amount of teenagers running through the halls sceaming until 1 am which we feel should have been monitored and quieted down

Deerhurst has a beautiful vibe. Pool amenities dirty. Pool changerooms unhygienic. This was our main issue. The pavillion rooms need updating. The ambiance and experience is far to beautiful to let go and not renovate. This place is truly special, this company should take more pride in it. My son loved his experience. Family friendly!

Overnight manager helpful. Good fun for kids and good activities. A bit like clamping for adults. 9 hours to get bed changed after child's accident. Found the staff are helpful but mostly not equipped and likely understaffed. Late room. 2 towels despite family booking. Hard to get any supplies. Garbage pickup - not happening. Probably would not book again during peak season.
