Great location in the centre of Basel, not far from the main train station. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms clean and tidy. Shower a bit disappointing and the toiletries need a bit of upgrading.

Clean great location walkable

The heat didn’t work in the first room I was issued on 1st floor. And it didn’t work in the 2nd room issued on the 6th floor. Finally, the 3rd room, also on the 6th floor, worked. The front desk did everything they could to help, so I appreciate that. It was okay to stay in for a brief stay. Close to trains and to get to city center.

The reception was extremely warm and friendly - helped us with an early check in and provided guidance to the city. I will stay here again when I am back.

Excellent service and pool area

1- early check in approved but room was not ready until 2 hours later. Then hotel tried to charge me for the early check in anyways. 2 - dirty appearing duvet (visible stains and dirt) 3 - chemical smell in room that was a mixture of soap / bleach 4 - sewer like smell in elevator waiting area 5 - dirty coffee maker in room

Clean, modern, well-appointed rooms, walkable to many local attractions, and close to many places to eat. Overall excellent value!

The room was not cleaned properly despite me mentioning it on the second day. There were stains on the window sill, the toilet had limescale, and the rooms had a lot of dust. I emailed in advance to inform the hotel of my dust allergy yet only the bedding was changed but no extra care in cleaning despite mentioning at reception on the 2nd day. The room also wasn’t cleaned on the 3rd day for some reason.

Lovely room, very clean and spacious. The staff in the lobby were really friendly and helpful, was also impressed by their English! They helped us to book an early morning shuttle for the airport. We didn't use wider amenities as no time but would absolutely stay again.. Only downfall was no toilet paper and there was no milk! Tea and coffee provided by no milk.

Clean room

It’s the first time I’ve visited the hotel, it’s in a good location, very clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good, everything was topped up when getting low….!

The staff were lovely and the hotel was in a great location. Room was lovely and clean with all you need. The walls are very thin and I could hear the person in the next room snoring on both nights and toilets flushing in the morning.

Hotel was clean and close to shops bars and markets. Breakfast was good apart from over cooked bacon which was like eating leather. Staff were very friendly. Would I stay there again, if they fix the bacon then yes I would

Room was small particularly the bathroom Tv didn’t work and when it did the choice was very poor Breakfast was extremely average for the price and coffee was terrible

Rooms were in a good condition but basic for a four star hotel. The pillows are small and uncomfortable. The lobby and bar areas feel much nicer compared to the rooms.

Staff was amazing! Ayoub made sure everything was taken care of. Location is great not far from train and trams are right there to take you to all your destinations. Room is warm and comfortable and very clean 10 out of 10
