I booked Vivanta for a short staycation and sharing my experience based on that.
Firstly our package included few complimentary things and upon reaching there was no welcome drink offered to us, it felt embarrassing to even ask for it so we skipped it. Booked a room with bathtub only to find they didn't have arrangements to offer for bath tub, bath bombs and salt to be the very least necessity for a bathtub. They denied that they don't have that and didn't even offer to arrange that. I bought on my own from market. Recliner in the room was broken and when we complained same it looked like staff was already aware of the issue and said that engineer can't fix it and we can't change it, offered us a different room that they can shift us to but it didn't have Recliner itself but a sofa and no bathtub so we denied same. No bathrobes available, called multiple times to provide same and aftwr many calls they gave us bathrobes. No room fresher available, upon multiple requests they gave us a bottle
Staff is okay as they reply politely but such kind of hospitality is really not what I expected from Vivanta after spending hectic amount on stay. They are offering 3 star services in hotel for a 5 star restaurant and prices.
We asked for a spa for 2 people only to get a reply that they have only 1 room and 1 person at a time. Another low from Vivanta.
The only thing good about our stay was food, dinner and breakfast, no doubt they have a good chef and amazing menu, we shared a convo with their chef and their team was the only hostile and trained staff there. Hotel management staff is not properly trained and needs a lot of improvement. Don't book if you are expecting good 5 star service as hotel stay is really average
