I booked Vivanta for a short staycation and sharing my experience based on that. Firstly our package included few complimentary things and upon reaching there was no welcome drink offered to us, it felt embarrassing to even ask for it so we skipped it. Booked a room with bathtub only to find they didn't have arrangements to offer for bath tub, bath bombs and salt to be the very least necessity for a bathtub. They denied that they don't have that and didn't even offer to arrange that. I bought on my own from market. Recliner in the room was broken and when we complained same it looked like staff was already aware of the issue and said that engineer can't fix it and we can't change it, offered us a different room that they can shift us to but it didn't have Recliner itself but a sofa and no bathtub so we denied same. No bathrobes available, called multiple times to provide same and aftwr many calls they gave us bathrobes. No room fresher available, upon multiple requests they gave us a bottle Staff is okay as they reply politely but such kind of hospitality is really not what I expected from Vivanta after spending hectic amount on stay. They are offering 3 star services in hotel for a 5 star restaurant and prices. We asked for a spa for 2 people only to get a reply that they have only 1 room and 1 person at a time. Another low from Vivanta. The only thing good about our stay was food, dinner and breakfast, no doubt they have a good chef and amazing menu, we shared a convo with their chef and their team was the only hostile and trained staff there. Hotel management staff is not properly trained and needs a lot of improvement. Don't book if you are expecting good 5 star service as hotel stay is really average

Great hospitality shown by the staff.. been staying here for almost 7 years. Neelima, chef Tanayi and Vikas from the restraunt and Arvind from the house keeping were there to make sure I was comfortable during my stay

I am frequent visitor of your Mint restaurant and what I have noticed that services are gone down in these years . Yesterday ie 6th Jan I visited and it was such a slow service , the staff were fully confused , seems they were working for the long hours which was giving frustration . On enquiry came to know that hotel is fully sold . Having compared to past I feel that this deteriorating services will definitely put Vivanta in a not choice destination in my list. If hotel is fully occupied and we know this there would rush in restaurant why not call more staff on duty ? What only I can say Food was up to my satisfaction but poor services has put a question on my favourite place to eat .For a simple dinner we wasted 2.30 Hrs . May be this feedback will alarm you and you can think of doing some homework before a full occupancy arrived .

What a wonderful hotel with first class guest centric service from the whole team through the hotel from the security team, front desk team, room cleaning team and of course the wonderful restaurant team. Even before we arrived Bhawna picked up my email query swiftly re my room and organised our request in advance. All of the hotel team are warm and welcoming which adds to the family feel of the hotel. The restaurant team’s service and the food was excellent. Chef’s Abdul, Anna and Surya and the whole kitchen team always looked to ensure guests were happy. The restaurant waiting service team also went above and beyond and always with a warm smile, thank you to Neelima, Vikas, Jaynath, Paru and all of the other team members who served us, you are all a wonderful team. Thank you again to the whole team at Vivanta Vadodara, we are having a wonderful time due to your exceptional service and warmth. We look forward to coming back with our daughters soon. 👌❤️

Had low expectations because of previous bad experiences with Taj properties and man the people here didnt fail to disappoint. Had booked for first night after marriage and had asked them repeatedly for a month to decorate the room but they didn’t pick up the call for a month. Not even the Taj customer care could reach them. Astonishing! My brother later had to go there directly and talk to the manager there in between the wedding! But in the end the room upgrade and the decoration was worth it. The room was AMAZING and decoration was too good. Thanks to Jay bhai the manager there who made it work. The breakfast spread was average or below average. The Pav bhaji was really good.
