A great heritage building in a great location with competent friendly staff. Room was very good bed was super comfortable. Restaurant was very good as was the selection and eatability of the all menu items we had. There was a smnall hiccup with restaurant timing and failure to advise us of a private function. We arrived at 21:29 and found it closes at 9:30..I'm sure the website stated 10pm. The following night arriving back from a day around the area Bloor West and roncesvalles we entered the Canto restaurant to be informed of a private function taking place. We returned to Bloor and found a great Italian pasta place willing to entertain us as long as we ordered right away, it was approaching 9pm, Queen's Pasta Cafe 2263 Bloor St W. We would Stay at The Old Mill Toronto again

Luxury King Suite dated. Warning you could use at least a step stool to climb into the bed which is too high! Firm mattress if you like that but personally did not find so comfortable. I don’t recommend ground floor suite as curtains do not fully close for privacy during the night, except for the sheer curtains. Tiny empty hidden bar fridge sort of useless. Bring your own toilet paper. No breakfast food available after 10:30am Was lucky to get a coffee before they closed at 11am. Then not open until evening. Limited restaurant times especially Monday - Wednesday annd no room service those days either. Unfortunate for a hotel that use to be the place to stay in the days back. Way over priced facility especially when restaurant has strict limited open time and nothing nearby walking distance. I also heard from family who live nearby it can be impossible to get a dinner reservation as an outside guest. Also if you want to use the spa services need to book in advance.

We had a lovely breakfast in the restaurant and the rooms were lovely and bed very comfortable. We were there in late May and the location was ideal for scenic walks with beautiful homes and parks close by.

Pros: Clean, gorgeous property, super quiet Negatives: Biggest negative is the old school magnetic stripe card keys, which are finicky and lose their charge often. Recommend getting two cards even if you don't need both. Second biggest negative is the odd behaviour by the staff. Asking for your card key to get recharged get you a lecture from the staff about keeping your cards separate from each other so they don't demagnetize each other. We were also chased down by the staff on the way to check out the onsite gym with a firmly spoken, "Can I help you?!" when there was nowhere else we could be going. As it turns out, our card keys wouldn't let us into the gym anyway, even though all guests should have access, but given the problems mentioned earlier, it wasn't worth trying to get assistance about it. At least they still worked for the room access.

Very cozy and upscale experience. Only complaint would be difficulty navigating where check-in was given multiple entrances. Complimentary wine and card was very lovely!

An idyllic, historic spot beside a scenic river, and steps to the subway. Very near the home in the beautiful Old Kingsway where we lived many years ago before relocating to Los Angeles. Friendly, helpful desk and bar staff. Nicely appointed room with traditional furniture. A great get-away spot.

This is a quaint hotel in a beautiful and quiet part of Toronto. The staff are very friendly and it has been a pleasure staying here. We ate out at different restaurants so I can't comment on the food.

Unique hotel in Toronto. Very peaceful in a small area of woodlands. It is in a luxury part of Toronto in a Tudor style. Not downtown but right on the Bloor subway line which makes everything accessible with a five minute walk and 30 minutes to downtown. Staff was excellent and the on site restaurant is really nice....a bit pricey but worth every penny.
