Warm welcome on arrival, although it says hotel entrance on one side of the building, but by the time you’ve walked all the way through, you’re back in the bar! Only one towel in the room but this was quickly sorted once reported. The room was clean, with plenty of hot water, tea & coffee. The only issues we had in the room (no9) was we couldn’t turn the radiator off, so had to have the windows open and then had a lot of road nose, and someone had jammed the shower on maximum heat. Both were reported to maintenance. We had a great evening in the restaurant, but didn’t have breakfast.

Always enjoy visiting Wayford Bridge. It is very convienient for the boat yard accros the road. Staff are friendly. Residents longue is good for relaxing in. Also a nice full english breakfast for when you dont need to be on the go too early.

Perfect getaway, staff cannot do too much to make your stay enjoyable, two stays so far and planning to go back.

Breakfast was great, lots of choices, staff really friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy, needed the tea and coffee needs to be larger as had to ask for top ups. Bar and restaurant were well laid out and clean.

The breakfast was great and can have vegan choice.The rooms are clean and have tea facilities. The chef is a great cook. All the staff are helpful and if time allows, in a quite moment will always have a chat.

A great venue in picturesque setting and ideally placed as a touring centre. Very generous and well provisioned accomodation. Relaxed bar and dining room.

Staff nice, heaters did not work, mild in the corners of the bathroom and cobwebs on the ceilings

Deglected and uncared for.No hot water toilet wouldn t flush.Tiling broken .Door lock broken.Furniture in bedroom ripped and broken.Staff uninspiring.Food just O.K.Very disappointing.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel as it was nicely presented and the facilities had everything i needed. Location was good for my business appointments. The Gentleman(Italian i think) who worked afternoons/evenings was a true old school professional. Courteous, humorous and a great host. Sadly the only thing a little lacking was breakfast service and overall quality of cooked food. Breakfast sausage overcooked and general items unseasoned. Hunters chicken dry and overcooked. However the burger was very good.

Got to the hotel and and asked if we could have food, the guy who checked us in , said I’ll show you to your room and then I’ll find out , he never came back to us, so ended up having a bag of crisps The other staff was very polite and very helpful Went to bed and the room was nice , but after falling a sleep I woke up around 3am feeling very cold as the heating had been turned off Breakfast wasn’t very nice , bacon was very fatty and the sausage didn’t taste that great, mushrooms was very bland
