Our first room was fine, but neither our TV nor WiFi worked. After 2 or 3 people came & tried working on it to no avail, i asked if we could just change rooms. That all took a while, but we finally got moved to a new, bigger room with a better view. We enjoyed our brief stay.

The only thing that I can say that was wrong or maybe not wrong I tried to watch some things on YouTube but only the commercials would come up if they don't have the YouTube they should let us know other than that the place was very well looked after and very well managed

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Chateau Bellevue. The staff was very attentive, accommodations very clean, and they even did us the courtesy of charging our EV for our long journey home. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the location- behind Chateau Frontenac, on a small park. The room was very clean. The room felt a little tight but we expected it from others’ reviews and didn’t have much luggage so it worked fine. The free tea and coffee service provided in the lobby was very appreciated. On Hotels.com it was advertised that the room included breakfast but this is not the case. Breakfast is $15/person.

The Hotel Chateau Bellevue is a beautiful property located just minutes from many of the historic sites of Old Quebec, the Chateau Frontenac, and many wonderful shops and restaurants. We were able to check in early which after a long travel time was most appreciated. Our room was descent sized with a large soft bed, sitting area, and a descent bathroom- even had robes! We did truly enjoy our stay but the reason it will get a 4 out of 5 stars is the checkout and payment process. We were not alerted until check-in that there is an additional $200 CAD deposit taken along with the cost of the room. We did pay it, however upon checkout they then tried to state it was only a “freeze” and they tried charging the cost of the room again to our account to which it was unsuccessful (triggered a fraud alert), this was at 2am mind you and our flight was at 5am. We left and they stated they would care for it. We got home later that night only to discover our account and cards locked for fraud. Multiple attempts for withdrawing funds, original “freeze” was not released but did run through as a charge, and our funding locked. Took two days to sort it out with our financial institution and emailing the hotel back and forth. In whole we did love our time here, but be prepared for the initial charge of your room plus a deposit and then an additional charge of the room cost as the larger initially taken charge at check in will take several days to return to your account.

The reception asked me for a 200 dollars security deposit, the whole room is not worth 200 dollars plus they asked me to go walk to an ATM at 12 midnight to get out cash knowing I can all the way from Ontario

This hotel was very nice, clean & convenient to restaurants, shopping & the beautiful St Lawrence River. Our room was roomy & comfortable. The front desk clerks were bilingual, friendly & helpful. The valet was great. We always got our vehicle in a matter of minutes. The coffee & juices were complimentary with a variety of coffees. My only issue was the $200 damage fee. There was no mention of this till we checked in. Since no damages were incurred we were told we would get our damage fee credit within 7-10 days. This was our second visit to this hotel.
