Excellent location!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. HOUSEKEEPING ARE THIEVES. After housekeeping cleaned our room, my Apple Watch disappeared. Despite an extensive search and reporting it immediately, the hotel denied any knowledge which is not surprising and provided no resolution. I would strongly advise against staying here. On our first night, we also had to call reception four times because the air conditioning was too cold to sleep. We were repeatedly told it would be turned off, but after waiting over half an hour it was still on. Despite further calls, our requests were ignored and we were left awake until around 1am trying waiting for it to be turned off as apparently only they could turn it off for the rooms on their side. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing from the start and did not improve.

Great place to stay. Beautiful room, friendly staff, the building itself was awesome. I think the brand in the US could learn something from this property

Overall the hotel is good, there are only a few things to consider: room was clean, but there is evidence wear & tear in some parts of the room, the shower stall is too small (I had to move in 45 degree angles to turn around), only 1 oz shampoo/body wash combo is offered- for the price you would think they’d have the larger dispensers. There is no mini fridge or separate closet space, but rather a closet/coffee counter/heater in one. And there is limited outlets. Another consideration (no impact to rating), the nearest tram (line 2) is undergoing improvements and the alternative bus route is unreliable or very busy. While the walk to the nearest metro station isn’t too bad (15-20 minutes), you must consider that when booking.

Beautiful place Breakfast is great

This place is away from everything. You have to rely on uber or taxis to go anywhere. Public transportation route is a couple blocks away but you would have to hop from one line to another to get to the main attractions. Nothing within walking distance. The clean up if my room was always being done after 5:30, very inconvenient.

What a very beautiful stay we had while in Rome at the Astrid! The staff was exceptional, and the breakfast was good. Especially the Cappuccino!

A great hotel with tram and bus links towards the centre of Rome nearby. The room itself was very clean and was maintained daily and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also good.
