Clean rooms and easy parking!

The breakfast guy will watch you until you finish your meal to make sure you don't bring anything out.

The room was reasonably clean and comfortable. The beds were too soft for us. The breakfast was good the one morning we ate there. Some items, like pancakes, were prepared from scratch. We stayed three nights over a weekend. The garbage bins in the foyer were overfilled and stinking and the desk staff didn’t change it out all weekend. The parking lot is untidy and the garden spaces are full of weeds and bits of garbage. Over the course of three nights, we were more than ready to leave and will stay elsewhere the next time we need accommodation in Sherwood Park.

The property was filthy. The trashcan in the parking lot was overflowing upon arrival and still in the same condition when I left 5 days later. The front doors were so dirty couldn’t see through the glass. The main lobby floor hasn’t been mopped in a few months it looks like. The entire property has not been maintained or cleaned in quite some time. This place was amazing a few years back not sure what has happened. Will not stay again.

Positives: good breakfast and helpful front desk staff. Good sized fridge in room. Negatives: There were no functioning ice machines on any of the guest floors- had to go to front desk for it. There was some kind of tissues or paper shoved into plastic cover plates on the ceiling in the room. No microwave in room. Coffee station in room wasn’t stocked. Washroom sink backed up in short time while washing hands or brushing teeth. No USB or phone ports on power outlets/lamps in room.

Here's a polished review based on your notes: Writing I booked this hotel partly because breakfast was advertised as included, but that ended up being one of the biggest disappointments of the stay. The breakfast offerings appeared to be microwaved and were not appetizing at all. If a quality breakfast is important to you, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The room itself was clean, and the hotel generally appeared clean as well. However, the property felt neglected and in need of maintenance. There were water stains on the ceilings, and the counters in the room looked worn and close to falling apart. The pool was not clean during our stay, which was disappointing. The ice machine was also unusable because a dirty towel had been stuffed inside it. On a hot baseball tournament weekend, having access to ice would have been especially appreciated. Another inconvenience was that although the bathroom had holders for items such as body wash and lotion, those products were not stocked in the room. We had to request them separately, even though housekeeping staff had them readily available on their carts. Overall, while the hotel was reasonably clean, the lack of maintenance, poor breakfast quality, and several avoidable inconveniences made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

I believe the property needs to be updated to compete with other hotels. Do some repair on the ice machines and clean up the in room fridges by defrosting the freezer. With these minor upgrades it would accommodate the guests a little more.

Hotel was an excellent price. Beds were good. It was very busy that evening.

Front desk was poor attitude. No smiles. Our daughter got her 2 soccer teams and family to stay there then when she mistakenly missed 1st night out of 3 she was told they didnt hold room and she had to go elsewhere without getting ant money back. NONE of these people will ever return or any of people in there spree of influence. This hotel feels like it is in receivership.

I have stayed here before and have gone back a few times to sta. This time with a few annoying inconveniences until I decided to leave early. My key card initially did not work (I was at the end of the hall -fully loaded down with my suitcase I had to get back down to get the card working). Inconvenient but accidents happen. I go up to the room and there are no coffee pods. I go back down they give me one and assure me they will send more. None came. No hand towels or wash clothes. Upon leaving I stop at the front desk request coffee pods in my room and at least a hand towel no need to clean the room but I would like the items. I came back 8 hours later after work my door was left wide open-silver clip holding it open (my belongings in the room). Yes I had hand towels but still no coffee pods. I get accidents, not filling items up now and again,….but leaving a good eats room ajar is completely unacceptable! I had very dangerous prescriptions just left on the nightstand any child could have wandered in.

Such a beautiful building. I can only imagine how grand it was. The staff amazingly lovely. Helpful in every way. The price of the room was very affordable. Location excellent. I hope that it will become again what it once was.

Overall condition is poor. No cleaning witnessed throughout stay. Floors sticky, elevator railing falling off, many lights throughout are flickering. Staff disengaged. Will not stay here again

The room includes breakfast but there was no breakfast for the guests. Very poor service.

Price was right. It was quiet until the trains started at 4:30 in the morning. I didn’t try the breakfast as the reviews were horrible. It needs some love it is an older property but with some tlc still could be awesome!
