The accommodations were super clean and environmentally sensitive - and a very nice walk from all the things going on in the city. They had great information about tourist spots and where to go as a local. If you're there for more than a few days, I highly recommend! Their free bikes and pool were the cherries on top.

This was a great base for a family vacation to Cairns. We had 2 x 2 bedroom apartments. They were incredibly spacious, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lounge, dining and outdoor furniture, washing machine and dryer as well as a clothes airer for drying. Nice balcony, lovely pool with BBQ facilities and I especially liked their shelf in the foyer for shared books, clothes and unwanted condiments. Great idea for re-using rather than discarding. The beds were a bit tired and newer fluffy pillows would have been amazing. Maybe an extra blanket or two as it did sometimes get cold during the night. There were plenty of towels and pool towels + the ability to wash and dry these, this was a big plus! Our main negative was just the attention to detail - management didn’t know that one of our bathrooms still had an ancient wall hair dryer that didn’t work, the lid on the garbage was broken as was the dustpan and brush. Also, the in room compendium was a bit outdated, as was the website reference to cable TV. Not big things and some were rectified on request but it just seemed that the managers didn’t spend much time inspecting the rooms to make sure everything was in order. Regardless, I would stay again - big rooms, great pool, good location!

We stayed for 3 weeks while exploring Cairns and the surrounding area and it was amazing. We loved the location, the facilities and all of the charming staff. They were so patient and helpful. The pool was brilliant for exercise and cooling off. Would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay again. Felt so relaxed and at home from the first minute.

You wont regret it!! We stayed with Will and Lyn for a week. They were the most terrific hosts, they did an amazing job booking and planning all our day trips. They were always friendly and smiling! The accommodation itself is great, very clean, spacious and comfortable. Have been recommending it to all our friends. We will return when ever in Cairns again.

Look this isn't the Hilton or Hyatt. It has a pool, it's quiet, there are no lifts so be mindful of this when booking. The apartment we stayed in was unserviced but we had ample towels including pool towels. They are very eco friendly and sustainable which I loved. It's walking distance to town. Will was fantastic. I honestly could stay this place was just as good if not better than the Mantra.
