The hotel is ok but I wouldn't recommend it as my friend and I was held up at gun point by arm thugs ,we almost lost our life while on vacation. This was very scary for them as it was theirs first time traveling. To make it worst when I spoke to the Staff/Manger they said there was nothing they can do about and outside doesn't have cameras.

The room itself was clean, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience was still very disappointing. The air conditioning did not work properly, making the stay uncomfortable, and the staff were not very helpful when issues were raised. There was also a strong smell in the room that made me feel sick and triggered my sinuses, which suggests the space needs better cleaning or ventilation. Additionally, the view was terrible due to mess outside and foggy windows. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

This is a no frills hotel. No refrigerator, no safe, there was a glass of if I wanted a drink. There was a roach in the room. There was a party in the building, loud music speaker vibrating until 2am. The mgr made it up to me comping my breakfast this morning but that wasn't very good either.

The hotel was conveniently located and clean but dated and in need of some upgrades. The pool area was nice but nut we'll serviced by staff. The hotel has great potential. The staff were helpful and the front desk was very accommodating

The internet does work!!!! Staff doesn’t know how to help you!!!! The room is nasty and smells moldy!!!!!!! The water takes 10 minutes to get warm!!!!!!!!!!! The beds are broken down!!!!!

People in Cartagena talking in general don't have manners to deal with tourist, so sad. The place is beautiful but the people all they care is to get all the money they can from tourist.

We stayed in this place from April 9 to April 16. We tried and tried to change our reservation but hotel.com would not credit or refund our money back so we stucked it out for the duration. The carpeting should be remove in that place. Those carpeting are just to fifty dirty that made the whole room smells so horrible. So horrible that on the second night I was vomiting and my head was just throving. I would never put myself and my family in that place again.

Dated hotel with an older charm but very good for the price. Air conditioning stays on all the time, no adjusting. Situated near Starbucks, Burger King, Pio Pio and some attractions are walking distance. Staff helps a lot even though their English is not the best. No outside food in hotel. Breakfast options are varied.

Me and my sister stayed at Princess for 4 nights . Amenities were not provided as listed. No iron, no blow dryer, fridge, no water. All of which are expected to be provided by a standard hotel. Additionally the keys were faulty. We booked two rooms and only got into one of the rooms. No urgent action was taken by staff to resolve this issue and we got access to the other room until the following day. The room that we shared for the night was horrible. Apart from the amenities not being provided the smell of the pillow and sheet was horrible. I assume that it was not changed after the last person used it. We had no choice but to sleep right there until we got access to the other room. On the bright side the views from our rooms were amazing. The hotel is located in the heart of the city so we got the entire view of the city and the hotel pool from our rooms.

I will start with the positives. The staff is amazing! Super nice and polite and will help you and answer any questions you have. The price for the hotel is also amazing. The AC worked amazingly and we had it at the lowest temperature all 5 days we were there. The property on the other hand is nothing the like the pictures. The property is old, smells musty, like mildew and mold. IT SMELLS HORRIBLE. The incense and air purifiers they use do not mask the smell but blend in with the mildew smell. The rooms do not have any refrigerators or microwaves ! Me and my partner were wondering why? Because we wanted to have cold drinks or take leftovers. Well, we soon found out why!! COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE. GERMAN COCKROACHES! When we first discovered them we did not realize the extent of the infestation so we asked for a different room. They gave us a different room the following day no questions asked. However, it only took a few hours to realize this room had more. We decided to stay because all of our tours were all day tours and we would not be at the hotel at all. Additionally the tours already had our pick up address. They are everywhere. My partner even found one in his shoe and on the bed. We made sure to always keep the lights on even to sleep and have the AC at the lowest temperature. We put everything on on the table shoes and luggage and everything zipped up at all times. Nothing touched the floor other than our feet with sandals on. And NO FOOD OR SUGARY DRINKS !!!!

I have stayed twice and definitely recommend getting the breakfast included! Everything was great just a few maintenance aesthetics that need to be updated and taken care of in rooms with outdated furniture and some interior damages. Otherwise it’s in a great location and will definitely stay again!

Repeat customer - stayed many times in the hotel. Obviously I like it. Not a 4 star, but fair price. Buffet breakfast is ok, Pool is nice, only 1 TV channel in English, Internet is very good. Also a good central location.
