Breakfast room was full most mornings. Choice not great. Room was small and beds not that comfortable for the kids.

Great staff - John and Filippo were great. Location was good too. Dated rooms, but a clean toilet/bathroom - Exactly what was expected when we booked. Personally, we Would have liked the air con to be On in the room, however, we didn't ask for it to be turned on for our room - in hindsight we should have as we left the window open and got absolutely covered by Mosquito bites.

The hotel is a beautiful old hotel located minutes away from Piazza San Marco. In addition, there are a number of cafes a short distance from the hotel. We found the staff to be very accommodating as well. There is an outdoor patio on the 3rd floor where we brought a bottle of wine and met other couples from various countries. Upon request, the hotel will also serve drinks as well. The breakfast was ok but I'm not evaluating the hotel on a free breakfast.

AC stopped working multiple times. Room was outside the facility. You can hear public talking at night out side while sleeping.

The hotel is quaintly positioned on a canal and has beautiful elegant rooms. Unfortunately the room was humid and warm- the air conditioning was set to 20’C but did not go below 25’C and with the humidity, it made for a less than comfortable stay/sleep. In fact everything felt damp and the room was musty. The breakfast had some options but after a few days, it was not that appealing and was a disappointment considering the food in Italy is usually delicious. Overall, a great location, a pretty hotel but underwhelming on the basics, especially for the price.

Amazing experience

Unfortunately, my recent stay at Hotel Ca’ dei Conti was disappointing. My two friends and I were placed in a room with no functioning air conditioning during the peak of summer. Despite being polite and respectful in asking for help, we were met with rude, dismissive staff who showed no willingness to offer a solution or even acknowledge the discomfort we expressed. The room was extremely hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable to sleep in, with no airflow whatsoever. For the price point and the hotel’s advertised standards, this was not what we expected. The lack of basic hospitality and care from the staff made the experience even worse. Venice in July is hard enough without air conditioning, but what made this truly disappointing was how poorly the situation was handled. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re guaranteed a properly functioning room and better treatment.
