Bathroom really needs a make over the sink was in a terrible condition needs replaced asap

This place is not to be missed. The rooms, the bar, the wonderful staff, the grounds and setting - phenomenal - I will be back.

The Slieve Donard is extremely luxurious & the staff are very helpful. I did think you could use the pool etc before you checked in but if you are aware of this beforehand it’s fine. The breakfast was amazing

We have stayed here with our dog on several occasions and will continue to do so. We came with friends ( on our recommendation and they also loved it ) A lovely property with rooms to match and great staff throughout. We felt the breakfast doesn’t meet the standards set by the rest of the hotel. Milky scrambled eggs and over cooked poached eggs along with insipid bacon make the breakfast a less than enjoyable experience. I requested a smoothie and was met with blank stares and my request for Tobasco sauce drew a similar response. Otherwise a great stay but brekkie still in the last century.

Great hotel. We were so happy to have experienced this town and historic lodge. It was uncommonly warm and thus without a/c it was hot in the room but the staff found some fans. This place is a must see.

As always the perfect stay! We love this hotel and it never disappoints. From the staff to the views it’s just amazing.

Loved everything wishe we could have stayed longer to enjoy the spa and golf. Just beautiful!!! Staff all very nice and the food was delicious!!!

We stayed for a family birthday and the staff were so helpful setting up our rooms and really giving us an amazing experience. Love the jacuzzi in the spa, super nice big rooms and breakfast was great! Hopefully will stay again soon :)

I’ve reached out to the hotel and had one response in regards to the list of complaints we had about our stay. In summary we had a buzzing noise outside our room the entire time and when I went to the desk I was told it would go off as we were above the kitchen.. we were not above the kitchen and it didn’t go off! There were a lot of things about the stay that wasn’t very nice and to not receive a proper response was just adding insult to injury. Not a 5 star hotel in my eyes I am really sorry but you need to treat your customers (especially repeat customers) better

The breakfast was not as spectacular as I had expected. And the gluten free options were poor. The price of drinks in the bar are eye watering. And the pool area could do with a revamp. Also bizarrely there were 7 pool beds.

Great service, spa and restraints were excellent. Course is the best in the world.

Clean room, lovely breakfast & spa fantastic

The pool area was very busy with children. The hot tub looks like it could do with some maintenance. Had food in the Lighthouse Cafe and luckily, it was not representative of the food during the remainder of our stay.

Great selections for breakfast.

Very good breakfast selection from fresh fruit to fixings for a full Irish breakfast.
