Great location, the renovation when completed will make this property stand out.

I want to thank the amazing front desk staff that greeted me upon arrival! Both the gentleman & lady were very kind and made the process smooth. They were very warm & welcoming! The room was very clean with tons of free tv channels to watch before bed (watched a few good movies), window opened letting in a nice ocean breeze, and very comfortable beds & chairs. Nice and quiet although there’s a train that drives by every few hours (I just closed the window and turned on the A/C - barely could hear it. Very secure rooms - I felt safe sleeping. Great powerful shower heads - almost felt like a massage. I didn’t try anything from their menu or other facilities but I will when I come back in a few months! Based off everything else, I can only assume it would be great too. Thank you so much for a very restful stay before a long trip back to Kelowna ♥️♥️♥️

Didn't really have a view of the ocean from our room....also the TV didn't tilt making it difficult to see from the one side of the bed...I liked the space...the garage height was only 6'6" making it to low to park our car in...thank heavens the public parking across the street was $8 from 10 pm to 7 am...which worked out fine and much cheaper than the $25 they were going to charge ....but i really liked the space, just sad we couldn't see the water

Clean, nicely decorated room, friendly staff. Limited selections in coffee shop, but the choices are excellent, high quality and reasonably priced. Everything thing we needed.

Snack options

This hotel has an ideal location for exploring White Rock, right across from the beach at the east end of Marine Drive. The room was clean and bright with very comfortable beds. We were on the top floor, which was quiet and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The staff here are friendly and accommodating, especially if you check in a bit early. Not a ton of extra amenities but there is so much to do that it’s not a big deal.

Insufficient parking for all booked guests. Under major renovations that caused access problems on all floors. Staff had no regard for people having to park on the street instead of within the gated area and were rude about it. Gym can’t be called a gym with one piece of equipment from the 70’s and a cardio machine. No actual restaurant on premises.

Check in was quick, room was nice, clean and well stocked. The room doors are so loud - was woken up both morning very early from people leaving. I don't mind paying for parking as I know it is a premium in White Rock but the spaces are very very small. Once you finally get parked - it's hard to get in our out of your car.

Renovation are very nice this hotel is in a very nice area walking to restaurants ,walks along the ocean perfect!

The staff was super rude, proceeded to charge extra the next day then the amount they previously mentioned in the bill for parking, saying they add some sort of transit fees that is not related to them whatsoever, and I have never heard of such taxes at other chain hotels. they also told us the rooms on the top floor were booked a year in advance, when all rooms showed availability while I was booking a week in advance…. Overall the room was decent we did book their best room, but staff was not accommodating , and hotel itself is very small and there is alot of maintenance happening. Elevator also barely works.

Stayed in a King Suite with an ocean view at Ocean Promenade Hotel and overall had a really nice experience. The room was beautiful, super clean, and had a small kitchen stocked with most of the essentials, which was a great bonus. The balcony was a nice feature, though it could use a better clean and the patio furniture felt a bit dated. The bed was a little too firm for my personal preference, but still comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. You can hear the train passing by, which is definitely loud, but oddly enough it added a bit of a romantic, seaside vibe. The lobby was under construction during our stay, and check-in was slower than expected, which wasn’t ideal. That said, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. One downside is that onsite parking felt overpriced. Overall, a great stay with a few minor areas for improvement, but the location and room quality really stand out.
