It was a great stop to an end of vacation. Great food on the port.

Avra hotel in Rafina has amazing staff! We arrived very early at 9:30 am. For a small fee we were able to go ahead and check in as well as enjoy the breakfast buffet. So thankful! The property has a beautiful location right I. The beach. We sat on the balcony and watched the ferries come and go. Took free shuttle to the airport! Great experience all the way around!

Very close and convenient for Port. Local feel to neighborhood, lots of restaurants. Beach area very close. We were a party of 4 and they gave us a 3 person room. They said that is what the 3rd party booking told them we needed. My booking receipt clearly stated 4 people. Hotel stated they could not help us-wouldn’t even bring in a cot. We spent a very uncomfortable night squeezing everyone in.

The hotel was right on the port. Very close to the airport (30 min). The staff was very helpful. The breakfast had everything that you wanted and was delicious . We walked up to the sweet St Nicholas chapel on the top of the hill. The room was clean but quirky. 4 twin beds. 2 were pushed together but had separate sheets. They were comfortable, just quirky. Just a great place to stay the night before you leave from Athens airport.

Great location especially if you are taking the ferries to the islands. Staff was friendly location was near dining and with lots of options.

Shuttle is a great feature, staff really helps plan so you do not miss flight. Food around hotel is delicious and breakfast at hotel is very good. The room is comfortable with great air conditioning and comfy bed.

Great airport stopover. The free shuttle was an added bonus plus the drivers were super nice.

Good stop for a last night in Athens. Was happy with the transfer service to and from the airport. The food and the service in the restaurant was excellent.

Overall liked the hotel - location is good and the lounge and dining area is very nice with several tables facing the ocean. However the reason for the 4 stars is that it’s toilets are not equipped to take toilet paper and there is a big sign in the room bathroom saying that toilet paper should not be flushed into the toilet. Instead they had a bin where you were supposed to put soiled toilet paper( after wiping ) - yuck! This was disgusting to us coming from the US. We stayed in two other hotels in Greece during our entire stay including one in Athens and they both didn’t have this issue!

Stayed at Avra By Smile Hotels for one night prior to flight out of Athens Airport. Nice and clean hotel and has restaurant that was open till 1030pm. Restaurant food and service was great, we got down there couple mins after 10pm without any issues; also got 15% discount card at check in. We used their hotel van for transport. For reference they have pick up from Airport on the 30s and leave hotel for drop off on the hour. We landed at 830pm got bags and were in bus lot by about 850pm and had to wait till 930pm for pick up. They have link to track van and see image of what van to look for, very helpful. They ask you to notify if need transport to Airport, so told them at check in we needed 6am for van to airport next morning, they just asked us to be down 10 mins early. They will not wait longer than time needed to load people/luggage, so if your tight to the 30 min mark to catch van know you might end up having to wait for next one. They did meet the timeframes they state. Was nice included perk.

Clean hotel in an area with many restaurant choices. Offers airport shuttle. Not the most comfortable beds. At check in we were not told that breakfast is included.

The shuttle service to the airport is very helpful.

Be very careful getting on and off of the elevators. The metal grate that you step onto/over is extremely dangerous.

Great hotel to stay at before or after travelling from the ferry port. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I was only in Athens for one day but the hotel was in a great location near one of the ports and the shuttle to the airport runs 24 hours which was also helpful. We ate at the restaurant and it was a nice way to end the trip with a nice meal with a nice view.
