Overall a wonderful stay. The hotel is really clean and well appointed, with some amazing views if you're on the river side of the building.
It's ideally located for a short walk into Newcastle, close to the train station and metro too so easy to get to all sorts of places locally.
We found the restaurant a little bit overpriced for the quality of the food. For example, the cheese board was £14.50 but it contained far too much, with a huge bunch of grapes and large portions of three different cheeses. I'd rather have paid less for less as it was just far too big a portion.
The spa facilities are lovely, but the hot tub is tiny and only really fits 2 so you did have to time your visits to less busy times.
