Great spacious room, even by American standards. Great location in the old city which means very walkable to everything. Did not have dinner but room service snacks and breakfast were very good. Personalized service near 5 stars but at a much lower price. Staff went out of their way to personally notice you and be helpful. Great authentic ambiance befitting a traditional French luxury hotel. Overall wood stay again!

Our room was gorgeous and spacious. The bathroom was very spacious as well. We enjoyed the reservations made by the staff. The bell staff was friendly and very helpful overall. The valet parking was extremely helpful given the location. We enjoyed the experience overall including breakfast and the bar. We appreciated the AC given the heat wave at the time. We would definitely recommend this hotel given the fantastic hospitality and location.

It was a wonderful historic hotel with many excellent staff caring for our every need. The restaurant 5 star with delicious creations. Breakfast staff helpful and some excellent choices to eat before we set off for our day. Mathilde was wonderful and not only looked after our food choices but also gave us a few destination suggestions. From here it is a short trip to Pont de Gard where we swam below a Roman bridge also Gordes and Isle le Sorgue. Hope to return.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just inside the city walls. It is easy to walk to restaurants and places of interest. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds are lovely. We were joining a river cruise and our boat was an easy 10-minute walk away.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely historic hotel. The staff was amazing and our room was large and comfortable. The hotel was perfect to explore Avignon and the countryside.

The hotel is very beautiful and upscale, the staff were extremely pleasant and nice. The lobby, bar and dining room were beautifully kept. The room was spacious and beautiful. Tje entrance grounds were very pretty. We only had the following issues that in our opinion can be improved: Hot water in the shower: on first day it was lukewarm, they fixed it so was fine on days 2 and 3 but not so much on day 4. Shower: the part that controls the angle of the shower head (handheld) was loose so water only came straight down so one had to stand very close to the knobs. Toilet: the toilet seat had some stains that seemed were due to passage of time, regardless it was not pleasant. Bathroom sinks: the porcelains in both sinks had a few chips that made the sinks look like they were not clean.

This is a lovely hotel with a wonderful staff and rooms that are comfortable and well appointed. The only problem with the hotel and it is not insignificant is that directly across the street is a loud and all-night cafe which gets louder and louder as the night goes on as the patrons get drunker and drunker. Nights can be very noisy.

Everything was perfect - check menu before you have dinner - what is posted online is different from restaurant menus - my husband and I got 2 different menus at dinner - we went elsewhere - town square has many options The staff is great!!!
