Perfect location , 2 min from the arena

Air con was good. Breakfast excellent with sandwiches. No restaurant in hotel and lobby is very small. Location is very central.

Expensive location delivering mediocre experience

I stayed at the apartments over by the river. It was a fabulous location to all the shopping, Guliette‘s balcony and historic piazza’s. There is a market two minute walk to get water and groceries. There is a wonderful breakfast place and coffee that’s three minutes away called Postino Caffe. The staff gave unbelievable service whatever you needed a taxi or directions. I had lost my keys to the lock on my suitcase, and the young man got it off very quickly. I was so happy!! If you stay in thé appartements be sure to bring soap & shampoo

The location is terrific except for the noise from the main road (but that was exceptionally bad because of a motor rally taking place through the evening). The rooms are a big t basic but comfortable and with decent WiFi. If you arrive before check in or you want to leave baggage for a while after checking out there is simply an unsupervised basement cupboard which felt very open to theft. A big for sure for us was that our air conditioning unit was completely out of action. It made for a sticky night and if it had been later in the month or in July it would have been intolerable Last thing: they promised in advance to put a kettle in the room. They hadn’t done so but produced one when I asked. However, every time we used it the fuse n the fuse box tripped. So boiling any water took three or four resets of the fuse. That raises a question about electrical safety.

Great location, Rooms were clean but basic. A bit of noise from other guests distrusting sleep. Wide choice at breakfast. Excellent hotel for budget travellers. Verona is lovely.

Asked for a cot, they put a baby carriage instead. Would not help

Hotel Mastino was a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of Historic Verona. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. The room was clean and the shower had amazing water pressure, which was fantastic! Breakfast was absolutely amazing with a variety of food to choose from. Absolutely enjoyed our stay!! Good location within walking distance to Verona city centre and a nice, spacious room. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a smell, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the breakfast was just okay.

Fantastic location right on the water and a minutes from excellent restaurants and shopping. Staying in this apartment that shared an exposed ancient brick wall with a church was gorgeous and so cool. We loved it!

Great location

The staff is fantastic

Very central, check in and luggage storage was very easy, and our room & bathroom were great, bathroom was very modern and clean, and the room was really big. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: breakfast had gluten free options, Clean room, good location, good value for money. Cons: sound proofing could be improved. We were in a front room, which overlooked a noisy macdonalds. We didn't ask to swap rooms as were only there for 2 nights, with hindsight would have been a good idea to at least have asked to swap.

Hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing. A short walk to the arena, park, juliets balcony and lots of restaurants and shops. My room was nice, clean, spacious. However only had 1 plug! Not a problem as i was on my own. The bar area was closed. My room was noisy and next to the breakfast area so i was woken up by noise and tables and chairs moving etc. Hotel is next to McDonald's so was busy out the front and a bit noisy being a Saturday night. Breakfast was ok, staff slow at getting the cooked items out. Check in and out was quick and staff were pleasant. I couldn't find the spa area. They did do luggage storage which is very useful, i personally didn't use it though but very useful

Room was clean. Great location in the city. Nice walk from train station. Great walk to city center. Best restaurant in city across the street.

Super room: clean, good size, quiet. Warm welcome. Excellent location.
