This is our second visit, perfect location, beautiful setting right by the river, rooms very spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean, staff very efficient and friendly, Breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from, they also offer a free shuttle service into Salisbury in the evenings, will definitely be back.

The hotel locates just beside the river, with a vast lawn, great for kids to play. The are ducks and swans in the river. Walking distance to the cathedral. Lovely to have breakfast outside.

Great location. Walking distance to downtown Salisbury. Free parking is very handy. Of course, A/C is the main reason for us to stay there. The only problem we have is the EV chargers don’t take credit card or debit card which is very inconvenient because we don’t want to download another app to charge the car especially the app has very low ratings.

Perfect location for our stay with a stunning view.. Would be great if restaurant was open a little longer.

A lovely property with beautiful views of Salisbury Cathedral, the Avon River and the meadows.

Very small rooms. No elevator. Incorrect info given about viewing Magna Carta at the cathedral so we missed it! Insufficient staff for check in- a line to do this. Very slow to clean tables ob communal ( nice) terrace.

Bedroom had its own air-conditioning unit – absolutely a godsend when temperature outside was over 30 C Got the impression that there was a distinct lack of staff – the staff were very helpful and pleasant and breakfast time was fine but both the reception and evening bar service areas were solo manned even though it was busy. When you have a queue of people waiting to check in, but the receptionist takes guests individually to their room, it seems an unnecessary courtesy.

Lovely clean and quiet room. Staff very attentive. Lovely hotel.

Great location and great view of the river/catherdral

Very pretty property, with a great view. A little distance from the city center, but they run a most friendly and flexible shuttle into town that works great, very good idea and a very commendable effort. Breakfast is good. We had a large room (2 adults 2 kids) very spacious. Some aspects of maintenance could be improved, but it is always a challenge with these country homes, they have the charm, but not everything is impecable. A little on the expensive side, but reasonable. Great parking.

Always good to stay here, nice rooms, free parking and great location. A lovely 15 minute walk into the city centre. Could really do with a decent coffee machine in the room. And a local beer on tap, other than love this place

Adorable and quaint boutique hotel beautifully located on a little creek. Staff was very pleasant and stay was perfe t for a night before our cruise out of Southampton. Breakfast was perfect and parking was right in front of hotel.. Try and get a riverview stay if you can!

Beautiful property, Convenient to city but across the river to quiet.. Right next to trail thru water meadows to city as well as roads direct to city.

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfy with lovely helpful staff. Beautiful location, room had a river view which was just perfect.

Friendly and helpful staff. We parked easily at the hotel and the receptionist ordered us a taxi. On our return we were shown to our rooms which were clean, bright and comfortable. The shuttle bus into Salisbury was a great idea and the driver was lovely. We had a drink in the hotel bar, again the staff were very helpful. After a good nights sleep in the comfortable bed, breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The hotel setting is beautiful too, sadly it was too cold and wet to sit on the terrace but it would be fantastic on a warm summers day.

The hotel has been fully refurbished to a very high standard and is located in a quiet area of Salisbury. Yet it is within easy walking distance of the City, plus there is plenty of free parking on site ! The only downside is that Dinner is not available at the hotel. However a free shuttle service is provided into the City Centre. Would definitely recommend the Riverside Hotel for a City break.

A lovely hotel, staffed by people who seem to take great pride in their work. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre, but that's no bad thing, as the walk is pretty (especially across the water meadow) and there's a shuttle bus in the evening.

Clean room picked riverside four poster . Not really a great riverside view due to flat roof . Water in the evening for the shower was like warm We did mention it and the morning it was sorted . Parking was good and easy . Lovely walk into the city . I thought breakfast was included and considering we already paid £215 midweek I think it was quite expensive without breakfast
