We had a delightful stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Jessica! The building and grounds are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Dinner at restaurant onsite was also very good. While out of town a ways we enjoyed the 40 walk and climb up to the old walled city.

This is a wonderful hotel for a stay in Tuscany. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast offers a great variety of options, making it a perfect start to the day. The location is also convenient—about 45 minutes to Florence, an hour to Pienza and Montepulciano, and roughly 25 minutes to Siena. The only drawback is that the walls are quite thin, so noise from the neighboring room can be easily heard.

Loved our stay. Room was huge and clean. Breakfast fantastic, one of the best.

The only thing was that I told the front desk not to bother and cleaning the room on the 3 days that I was going to be and they was knocking the doors at 10 am

Gorgeous hotel with ample amounts of charm. The location is excellent for exploring Tuscany and Florence. It has every bit the look and feel of a five star hotel that costs hundreds of dollars more. That being said, it lacks the touches of a true luxury hotel. Bath amenities were scarce (no conditioner, bath wash, or wash cloths provided and the hair dryer was one you would find in a cheap motel) the lack of power outlets also made the room challenging. However, for the value you simply will not find a more authenticity Tuscan resort. I will happily return (a little better prepared) for our next Tuscan holiday.

Excellent stay at this property. Rooms and facilities were outstanding, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast included was fantastic. Location in town is not the best but quite close to the historic centre. Would happily stay here again.

Relais Della Rovere is a beautiful hotel, with comfortable, well appointed rooms and a lovely pool. The breakfast spread is really incredible, and having afternoon drinks around the pool was divine. Parking is easy, and it was a convenient location to the areas of Tuscany we were exploring. And the staff were helpful an very friendly!

The hotel is located next to a small village with a nice historic part of town which includes a number of great restaurants. Location is central only 20-30 minutes away from Florence and Siena. Hotel is super nice, fully up to date. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and would come again and recommend it to our friends.

Two days stop to enjoy hotel life before heading in to country resort. Very friendly staff, great food in the restaurant, clean rooms and beautiful building. In a walking distance from Colle Val Di d’Elsa center if you don’t mind the hills.

Very nice and modern room as well as bathroom. The staff was very helpful, and the restaurant was a great experience. Overall, very positive!

This place is quite nice, however, we booked a junior suite with a bathtub in the picture. Upon arrival, there was no bathtub, however the bathroom was brand new and gorgeous. The place is clean and organized. However in our room our AC didn’t properly function. In result we needed a way to cool the room and the front desk was kind enough to get us a fan. We paid a lot of money to stay in the junior suit. The AC has to work. The restaurant was amazing and breakfast was fantastic. They charged us an arm and a leg to do wash laundry. After staying 2 days in a room with no air conditioning, the least they could have done is given us the laundry service complementary. But nothing. Overall, friendly staff and kind people. This place was fine if it wasn’t for the damaged air conditioning.

The service and the setting were excellent. The breakfasts were very satisfying. The buildings are charming. It's helpful to have a car as the town is a 15 minute walk. Unfortunately, the bathrooms (we moved once) need a good deep-cleaning in the corners and lighting needs to be improved. We thoroughly enjoyed the Chianti Wine tour that they arranged and they were extremely helpful in requesting taxis for us.

Very serene location. Beautiful pool, but terrible mosquito around it.

This place was a passage in time to life in the XI century but with "modern" bathrooms.It is a converted monestary with ties to Pope Julius II. While the bathrooms were fine, there was no stand up shower in our bathroom. Beautiful view to the courtyard and tree lined ancient buildings. Restaurant was fabulous and an entertaining menu of creative combinations run by the waiter and his wife the chef in the kitchen.
