Room was moderately clean. Lots of thick cobwebs and room needed some maintenance. Bed was clean but not very comfy. Shower door didn’t close. TV would freeze after a few clicks of the remote.

Staff were very friendly and it was well located and had parking (£12 extra). But the decor and quality of the room was pretty awful. The whole place needed a complete update. Taps in the bathroom were broken, grab rail in shower was rusty, shower head dirty and needed replacing, carpet threadbare, awful throws on the bed which were old and stained. Really the whole place needed improvements. Shame because the staff were lovely

Katia and Rhianne on reception deserve a special mention for being helpful, smiling and friendly. Hotel fine for our needs being close to the University.

The hotel is looking slightly worn with signs of cracking in the walls of our room. However the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful Parking was great and reasonably prices for the city

The staff were really helpful and breakfast was good. The hotel overall is tired and old fashioned. I stayed in 3 different rooms (another story) and all had different issues with them. There certainly weren't any tablecloths on the breakfast tables like the picture at the start of this survey.

My stay at the Washington was OK. The room that I stayed in was comfortable but could really do with some urgent TLC...especially the bathroom. The hotel's location is very good - well within walking distance to the town centre. It also has a small onsite carpark that is allocated on a first come first served basis, at a cost of £12 per night - very handy indeed. All staff were very helpful and always greeted with lovely smiles. I really hope the rooms are given a new lease of life in the not to distant future.

Idea for somewhere to put your head down after a night in Bristol. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. Very cheap compared to other city centre hotels.

Great location to explore central Bristol especially if seeing anyone at the university. Limited parking available but good value in comparison to the nearby multi storey. Yes it’s a tired old property. But it is what it is. Clean sheets and towels. Hot water etc. a bit dated and needing an upgrade but so are many places. Good selection of tea and fresh ground coffee in your room. Fans for then it’s hot. Recommended but don’t expect a 4 star hotel. It’s a great little 3 star and perfectly adequate and well located with friendly and helpful staff.

I like to stay at this property due to the proximity to the University's Victoria Rooms. The staff were great at all times. I only had continental breakfast which was satisfactory.

Our stay was ok,parking was a nightmare as was not aware we had to reserve ahead of arrive.

Helpful staff, clean and affordable, in particular since it included full English breakfast for two. Should be quie good for young people. Mais inconvence, in particular for the not so young is that there are no elevator and the second floor is quite a climb. Room also needed some updates to provide modern USB ports.

Room was adjacent to reception and was noisy. Bathroom wasn’t very clean and plug sockets were unworkable due to location.

Very happy with my stay at the Washington. Parking was easy, there is a £12 per night charge. Staff are really nice and helpfull. Breakfast was good value. My room was fairly small but very comfortable . Will stay again if in Bristol in the future

Hotel is close to Bristol city center and lots of local restaurant nearby just 10, 15 mins walk also not far from clifton 20-25 mins walk which is main part for me. No need to drive around unless you really want to. My room was on ground floor so could hear sound outside at night and in morning. Bathroom is very tiny and small. 1 person can bare fit. Staff were really helpful and nice. Room was clean and tidy however could smell as its located on ground floor. Limited parking available on rear of the hotel and its £12 per night which is quite expensive. Overall its good hotel center located for 1,2 night and would not recommend for longer stay. Thanks
