Good hotel and was perfect location for us with a 4 year old for the night. Hotel rooms are a little dated but all good, however, our bathroom toilet had a terrible public urine smell to it. We had already put the little one to sleep so we shut the door and didn’t mention it until before breakfast but was told on reception that you have to email to let a duty manager know… hopefully they read the email as still awaiting a response so I imagine they could be getting more complaints until they follow up our email which seems a strange way of dealing with the issue.

Good hotel about 10mins walk from Cardiff Bay. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Breakfast seemed to be good quality plenty of choice and always topped up. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking in Cardiff was a bonus. Only slight gripe was the noise from the dual carriageway behind the hotel.

Super efficient staff. Walkable to waterfront. Free parking, a true find! Rooms are spacious and clean.

Rooms are a bit run down, location is great for being so close to Cardiff bay. Staff are lovely and friendly and the bar is cosy. Breakfast was decent.

Unfortunately, this was an extremely poor check-in experience. The two staff members we dealt with were unhelpful and dismissive, and they did not take the time to properly listen to either myself or my colleague. The interaction became uncomfortable, as their tone and approach came across as unnecessarily aggressive. I would expect a much higher level of professionalism.

The room was really spacious. Great idea with the bathroom/toilet door meaning someone can shower whilst the other uses the toilet. Bar area had a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Reception staff were very welcoming. It was great to have free parking. Frist stay and we will absolutely be returning and recommending.

Front desk staff were horrible at check in, The asked them where the ice machine was, they told me on the first floor, went there could not find it, they insisted it was there. Asked a different staff member the next morning and was told the ice machine was broken and removed a few days before

Room clean but carpet stained and dusty in corners, no soap container so soap was sliding all over the bathroom top so had to keep it on a towel to soak up the water

Although the early check in was appreciated, for some reason we were given an adapted room. As it was in a quiet area of the hotel we accepted it. I took a shower after checking in but the shower was blocked and flooded the whole bathroom. At 5pm I was told there were no maintenance staff on duty so we had to move rooms. This room was much noisier, on the main road. Not the best nights sleep

Staff were helpful- location had easy access to the bay where there are many restaurants and shops.

Though a littke out of town, hotel was pleasant and spotlessly clean. Staff helpful and breakfast excellent

We had a lovely staycation. Kudos to the hotel manager who is very kind and accommodating to all the guests.

The room was clean and well serviced. Our only complaint was with the shower over the bath. As older people, showers over baths are not the best but they would be helped if the were a vertical grab bar to steady oneself. The provision of a grab bar for the bath is all vwry well but support when using the shower seems to have been forgotten. Breakfast was good and the staff there helpful.
