This hotel houses asylum seekers and vulnerable adults as part of a contract with local council. I arrived with no cars in carpark. Kitchen and bar closed. Single young men walking around the inside and grounds with no purpose. After questioning reception they admitted the above. If I had know I wouldn’t have stayed. They took that choice away from me and left ME vulnerable as a paying customer.

Bar staff rude and was away from the bar Offering flat lemondae with gin Chef was very friendly and acomadating Main doors adjar when asked why this was as my partner is partially sighted and had to walk side ways through them they said it was due to the cold which is unacceptable as the public are not cosidered never mind people with disabilitys or prams

Room was freezing had heater but it did not make a whole of difference 18 degrees was the best it got Resteraunt also cold. Really dissapointed with the whole experience and would not return

Beautiful place

Carpet in room was worn and threadbare. Otherwise a good size room that was clean and tidy

Breakfast was good, check in and out easy, room was fine, maybe a little tired. Could do with more sockets or USB ports. Lifts not really adequate, one was out of action and they are very small, max 2 adults.

The room was spotless and spacious great view the staff were friendly everything was great apart from no heating in the room especially the last few days when it was raining and windy

Staff were brilliant room was a bit dated and grubby bed was comfy all in all hotel needs updating

Staff friendly and helpful

Friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast option for a reasonable price. Walking distance from the places we wanted to go. The shower lacked pressure but not sure if they have the power to fix that! The furnishings are worn but everything was clean and that's all I care about

The room was clean, reception staff helpful. Breakfast was good but had to wait for the buffet to be re stocked
