The staff was wonderful, the breakfast in the morning was very good. We enjoyed our stay for 4 nights without much trouble. Problems were handled by the staff in a timely manner. We will return to this hotel on future visits to Red Deer.

Nice little hotel

Very run down and not clean

We stayed for a single Saturday night in July. When we went to shower we discovered the diverter value was broken. We called the front desk and maintenance was in our room 5 minutes later with a new spout. Fixed! We also asked for more towels and they were supplied equally as fast. Well done

Welcoming staff and efficient check in. Very accomodating with our small dog. Room is spacious and clean. Well equipped. Breakfast was very good with hot options and lots of choices. Overall a very pleasant experience. The only downside is the environment which presents as not very reassuring - a steady police presence eased worries. There is a Tim next door which is nice.

Clean comfy rooms! However the AC was struggling noisy, but working! Complimentary bottled water for guests would be better then the tap water

Hidden extra occupant fees upon arrival (described in a "pet policy") even if you indicated the number of occupants on your reservation and paid in full before arrival. There is quite a few homeless/addicts in the area, it seems their addiction treatment center or a homeless shelter was located across from the hotel so a lot of them still linger in the area. The addicts/homeless people don't seem to bother anyone, and our vehicle wasn't broken in to. Breakfast was the basics: cereal with milk, pre-cooked pancakes, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and weird looking grey sausages, also, toast, two kinds of muffins, coffee, tea (only orange peako), four kinds of juices. House cleaning dropped the ball twice before our check-in because they left food in the fridge and then the inspector missed it also. They also do not clean the room after 11am because their focus is to clean the checked-out rooms. The pictures on the site are a bit deceiving; our room looked a lot bigger in the picture. Hotel is pretty close to "downtown" but you still need to drive everywhere.

Very clean room, but the tv input didn’t work so couldn’t watch any tv. Talked to the front desk staff but they weren’t a lot of help so gave up after trying a few things. The shower water never did get very warm either.
