We frozen in room There wasn’t any heat

The only signage is on the entry door on the back side of the building. The sign isn’t visible in the dark and the main entry just looks like some random entrance to some random building. Had to call to even make sure we were at the correct building and to find the entrance. Parking is on the opposite side of the building from the entry and separated by a small woods and a walking path. Approximately 500 meters from parking to the entrance. Someone in another room had a cough that kept me up because the noise traveled into our room. One of the two bedrooms was cold. No towel hooks for bath or hand towels. Advertised as having a kitchenette… microwave and refrigerator, but zero utensils if you plan on eating bring your own silverware. The only real positive is it was relatively inexpensive, and the staff is very friendly.

No mention of construction that was right up against my window before I booked. Unacceptable- I was woken at 6 am the day I had a job interview which I had travelled from Quebec for! Excessive noise from fridge compressor prevented me from falling asleep- decided to shut the fridge off so I could sleep. Naturally, my food items were not cold in the morning. I was leaving after the first night due to these circumstances, and told they wouldn’t refund me for the second night. Terrible customer service. I politely explained to front desk. They said management would contact me- they did not. I contacted Expedia , they contacted the hotel, and still, no response. Was also told it would take 24 hours- after that time I still had not heard any response. Appalling service. I understand that I booked ahead and prepaid through Expedia- this should not be a factor in providing a refund for the 2nd night that I wasn’t there for. Exceptions should have been made. A bit of understanding and empathy for my situation wouldn’t have hurt. I travelled 7 hours by train to Oakville expecting a good night’s rest before a stressful day interviewing for work. The $100. may not mean anything to Residence & Conference Inn, but when you are a person without major funds, it means a lot. It would be nice if the hotel did the right thing- until they do, I will continue to NOT recommend their establishment. Also;no lamps. Who reads at night with only overhead light??Showerhead-low pressure

Check-in went quick and all of the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. There's a 24h store right infront of the building

Great trails to walk around. If you are family and travelling this is ideal. Two bedrooms and a small kitchen, but ideal for 1 or 2 night stay. Extremely affordable. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. All the stores are close..walking distance. I will definitely book again when I go back to Ontario, this place was better than some than some 4 star hotels I have stayed in. Trust me it is a great place to stay. :)

This is a student residence. Two bedroom suite with kitchen (microwave and fridge) and private bath. Excellent location for a great price.

Easy access to QEW and 30 min away from downtown Toronto for a fraction of a cost if you just need a bed.
