Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and efficient at both check-in and check-out, making everything quick and easy. The bathroom was a great size and spotlessly clean. Having both a separate bath and shower was a lovely feature. The bedroom had a great TV with attractive lighting around it, and the tea and coffee facilities were good. A nice touch was the water jug provided, which could be refilled on designated floors. There was also a small fridge, although it didn’t get particularly cold. The gym was outstanding – easily one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used. The location was convenient, with plenty of parking available. There were a few areas that could be improved. The room only had limited mirrors, so I had to do my makeup in the bathroom. The bedside lamps didn’t work, which was a little inconvenient. There was some noticeable water damage around the bedroom windows, and with the full-length windows only having curtains (and no net or sheer curtains), there was no privacy unless the curtains were fully closed. The air conditioning worked but wasn’t especially powerful. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and would happily consider staying again.

Pros: located fairly close to the airport, free onsite parking Cons: visited during a heat wave and while the room was apparently equipped with a/c, the room was super hot. Staff offered to try to adjust the thermostat remotely or bring us a fan. A fan was already plugged in and running when we arrived, which was a clue that the a/c was not working. Staff moved us to another room with apparently working a/c. The second room was still super hot and thermostat kept resetting itself. Almost unbearable to sleep, thankfully there was a window to open, however we were traveling with the a child and itade us nervous to have a large window open while on an upper floor. While the second room was larger, it had one less bed than our original so a cot was brought in. The cot could barely support the weight of a small child. When we checked out in the morning the staff just too the key. Usually hotel staff ask how someone's stay was, but they seemed indifferent to us. The hotel had potential but the broken a/c and staff were e let down.

Staff were very helpful and the room was spotless. I had stop over bwfore early morning flight.

The sauna and hot tub and plastered all over the site and heavily implied they are included and you don’t find out until check in that the facilities all cost extra.

Beautiful hotel, large bathroom with separate tub & shower areas. Amazing water pressure & very soft towels! Comfortable bed with high quality linens. Were were able to arrange a shuttle to the airport.

Hotel is looking a little tired, could use a bit of freshening up. Room was fine, probably wouldn't cut it as a 4* in North America but typical of other 4* places in Ireland. Gym was decent, looks like it was recently renovated and gear was clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was great. Evening dining doesn't offer much in the way of vegetarian/vegan options (but that won't matter to most), then again, neither did the restaurants across the street in the little village of Tyrrelstown.

We stayed three nights for the Special Olympics. It was very convenient as we were in and out a lot. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we find no fault with our room. We ate in the Hourglass most evenings which had a good atmosphere with live music on Saturday night. We were able to move out to a quieter area to carry on with our conversations. This is not a fault, but at our age we prefer the quieter areas which were plentiful. All in all a very enjoyable stay

Sundial restaurant is a must and verry reasonably priced

Wonderful stay. The suite was beautifully appointed and really spacious. The staff were very helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast and the food in the bar was tasty (just a shame about the live music being so loud). .
