Staff and food were fantastic. Rooms were clean. Ideal overnight stop to break up a trip to Dublin. Added bonus of pool and gym on site as well as an Applegreen service station on their doorstep with a large food court with a variety of eateries to choose from. Felt that bedrooms could do with a light modernization, but for the price it’s not even worth complaining about.

From the moment we were seated, she provided exceptional service with a warm smile, professionalism, and genuine care for her guests. The food was absolutely amazing—delicious, beautifully presented, and served perfectly. Alisha’s attention to detail and friendly, attentive manner made the entire experience even more enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Alisha is a true asset to the Maldron Hotel, and her outstanding customer service deserves recognition. Combined with the excellent food, she helped create a wonderful experience that we will definitely remember. I highly recommend dining here and look forward to returning in the future. This is our second stay here. Great spot. Nice food. Misplaced my purse in the loo and was picked up by staff and returned safely thanks to Kate, Roisin and Sushil from the bar staff. Only one complaint I have about this hotel is that I really wish that their small double beds were bigger. It's a right squeeze for 2 adults.

During our stay, we were accommodated in Family Room 105. The room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed throughout our visit. Although some of the furnishings are a little dated, everything was fully functional, clean, and well maintained, including the bathroom. I would especially like to recognize the excellent work of the housekeeping team. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with a generous selection of amenities. My wife and daughter particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. A major advantage is the direct indoor access from the hotel to the leisure facilities, allowing guests to reach them without having to go outside. Breakfast offered the traditional Irish selection you would expect from a quality hotel. The food was served warm, regularly replenished, and available in ample quantities. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, where we ordered the fish and chips and the salmon from the menu. Both dishes were delicious, well prepared, and served promptly after ordering. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm, welcoming, and relaxed. The restaurant manager deserves special recognition. He was charismatic, attentive, and genuinely helpful, leading what is clearly an excellent team. It was evident that the staff take pride in their work, and their professionalism created a pleasant dining experience not only for us but for the other guests as well. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The reception team kindly arranged a dinner reservation for us immediately upon arrival. We also appreciated the large car park, which offered plenty of available spaces. If I were to mention one minor point for improvement, it would be the shower, which only had a fixed wall-mounted showerhead rather than a handheld option. However, this is a very small detail and did not affect our overall experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to families and anyone looking for comfortable accommodation, excellent service, and a friendly atmosphere.

Jamie at the bar was fantastic 😇 attentive, personable, and clearly passionate about providing great service. Drinks and his cocktails were made perfectly, and the conversation and atmosphere he created made the experience even better. Thank you Jamie 🤓 Both Daniel and Jamie went above and beyond in their roles and truly represent exceptional hospitality.
