We booked to attend a music gig at Lincoln Castle. Great location, 5-minute walk from the main city centre, 10 minute walk from the Castle and Cathedral. Hotel in good order, room spacious with everything we needed. But very expensive for what it was (marked-up price due to the gig, no doubt).

We were given a room with twin beds and when we asked for that to be changed it couldn't be despite that being our booking. The beds were horrifically uncomfortable and I could feel the springs in the mattress. We didn't opt for breakfast at 13 GBP each and instead had a fantastic breakfast a few doors down for 7GBP for both of us! THe location is good and it is dog friendly (we didn't have a dog with us) and seemed well set up for that.

Hotel is in a lovely location. When we arrived in the morning there was plenty of spaces in the car park, although by checking in time it was almost full. The staff on reception were very friendly. Our room was very spacious with 2 double beds and 2 chairs. The only issue I had was with the lighting, there were plenty of lamps but no ceiling lights so the room wasn’t as bright as I would like. The bar area was lovely and again the staff were very friendly. We were unable to book the breakfast when we booked the room, so chose to go to the Harvester next door instead, which was very nice and good value.

Clean and cheap(ish) hotel to stay overnight whilst visiting my Daughter at University. Room clean and comfortable bed, but apart from sleeping I was barely in the hotel so can really rate food or anything else.

We have stayed in various hotels in Lincoln and this was by far the best. Although we only stayed 1 night, we were impressed. The location is excellent and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The location of the restaurant where breakfast was served was stuuning as it overlooked the Brayford. Again, all staff were excellent as was the buffet breakfast and the variety of food available. We will definitely return. Thank-you for a great stay.

A lovely hotel, competitively priced with very clean, very spacious and well maintained rooms judging by my own. The hotel is located next to a very clean and pretty marina, and is just a short walk from restaurants, the main shopping area and the (very steep!) hill up to the cathedral and castle. Breakfast is a very well stocked buffet, offering cereals, fruit and pastries as well as the traditional fayre. All staff I came across were pleasant and very polite. The on site car park is fairly large, although I stayed in May and did get the impression that in the summer peak months you would need to arrive early to have a good chance of getting a space. I doubt there would be enough spaces for all guests arriving by car. You register your car at Reception on arrival and so I would think that if you left it during your stay you should get a space on return because the hotel would know how many cars are registered at any given time.

Staff very friendly and helpful, super breakfast, we didn't park a car but looked ok, the room was clean but the air conditioning wasn't up to the standard I expected intact it didn't cool the room at all There was tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits however I thought a small mini drinks fridge would have been nice to keep water and pop cool

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was very convenient for walking into Lincoln and shopping, with many and varied pubs, bars and restaurants within a short distance, but driving was a different matter. Luckily we managed to find a space in the Hotel car park every night - it seemed to fill up quite early - and didn't need to pay the extra to use the NCP down the street, so that was good! On the other hand, and this is no reflection on the Hotel, we seemed to find ourselves stuck in traffic, stuck in one-way systems, stuck on the opposite side of the city every time we tried to leave or return to our base. Lincoln isn't for driving in!

Lovely big clean family room. Shower pressure could be much better - very weak and luke warm. But all super clean and good location. Parking on site was good.

We stayed for one night to meet friends on the waterfront. Perfect location for the eateries there and easy access to the high street too. Parking is a little limited at peak times but there’s a multi storey next door. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was really good too with lots of choice, although the coffee wasn’t great. The room was spacious and clean and perfect for what we needed it for. Will stay again if we’re in the area.
