Lovely hotel in an interesting old building, very clean and the staff were very friendly, really convenient for Central Exeter.

Excellent food and restaurant service

Bathroom needed a bit of extra cleaning at floor level plus glass window insert. Very attentive staff and bottle of bubbles help put things right, however, the dust is still there🤔😳 Overall lo ed the laid back style the roaring fire, the breakfast options, the comfortable bed, the free overnight parking in the adjoining street (top tip). We'll be back!

Absoloutly loved our room, clean and modern but with loads of character. Loved the free standing bath!

Lovely hotel but 2 things which weren’t perfect was that the air con was pretty ineffective so we ended it opening windows which was then very noisy! Also there was no hot water when my husband showered! We did alert the hotel about this & they assured us they would get maintenance to check it. However, this is the 3rd time staying at their hotel & the atmosphere is lovely & being an old hospital, the building is superb with lots of historical features. Staff are also very good.

Lovely old building excellent service x

Room was cold, radiator valves were turned to low / off when I arrived, opened them to full but clearly the rads need bleeding as pipe's were hot but top of radiator was cold

The breakfast was wonderful, continuously restocked with fresh items and also a wonderful cooked to order menu as well.

Staff were great and the place was spotlessly clean

Toby on reception was so welcoming when we arrived. He gave us an upgrade, as we were here celebrating our anniversary, to a junior suite which was awesome. We will definitely come back, beautiful hotel, lovely staff, great location!

Great stay and the staff were great as well

Everything was just wondefful. Room was clean, nice view and a lovely bath. Toby on reception offered great service as did Helen at nreakdasr and all the staff at dinner. Superb food too.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated the small things eg the cold water in the fridge and the lovely toiletries. I wasn’t keen on the open plan bathroom though, I do prefer a door! The pool was excellent. It would have been a haven of peace were it not for the two ladies who swam up and down talking really loudly to each other.
