It is run down, parkade was too tight and not enough spots.

There is no air conditioning, which made it very difficult to sleep due to the heat. The hotel is old and outdated. We also had a frustrating experience getting into our room because the key card reader wasn't working properly. We had to go back and forth to the lobby three times before an attendant finally came up with a master key to let us in. That said, the resort itself is beautiful. There are plenty of outdoor activities, and the surrounding area is great for anyone who enjoys nature. If the rooms were updated and better maintained, the overall experience would have been much better.

Do not stay here during the summer there was no AC and it was brutal hot in the room.

The rooms need AC. I wish Expedia didn't show me this hotel when I searched for hotels in Kamloops it was an hour away. We got ourselves sorted the staff were nice thankfully. It was just not a good time as I had the RV and to park so far away and the room had no airconditioning heh oh well

The room was fine except there was no air conditioning and the room was fairly warm even with a stand-up fan running at full speed. The parking spots in the basement were very tight and difficult to maneuver in to. Other than that, we give a rating of 4 out of 5.

No air conditioning in rooms, fans supplied don’t work. Broken windows, expensive and tight parking space. Hotel was so bad we left after one night and when we asked to refund the other night they refused. Terrible experience and so unprofessional staff.

If this hotel wants to be open in the summer it’s time to invest in air conditioning or more windows that open. The keys demagnetize if they even look at your cellphone. This is probably worth an upgrade as it’s not an issue in other hotels. The bar below the property is very loud and without air conditioning you must leave the few windows open and listen to it.

We were able to check in a bit earlier and the staff was very accommodating. We were very happy with the service and will continue to stay there ;)

We had heard good things. Arrived at the property and waited for a guest service person to arrive to check us in. She was not the most welcoming(however she seemed under the weather, perhaps and her arm was in a sling). Everyone can have a bad day. However when we called down with a request for a working kettle and someone to see why the lamp wasn’t working she said she’d tell the boss. Meanwhile we went into Kamloops for the afternoon. When we came back, nothing had changed; I got a working kettle from some housekeeping person in the hall! Upon checkout, I told them there was a piece of dog treat in the room and she said that, indeed our room was sometimes a pet room. That was a surprise to us! What if we were allergic to dander? Also we were stuck in corner with no proper outlook.

Great location! Air conditioning in hallways—but not in the room (?) Note—parking fees are an add-on.

Older hotel that doesn't have AC. Needed two portable fans to be able to sleep as the room was hot. Too get the second fan, the front desk needed approval from the manager.

We enjoyed our stay at Sundance Lodge. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very quiet, making it a relaxing place to stay. The beds were comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep. The lodge is definitely a bit dated, but it was well maintained and clean. It was also neat to experience a ski resort during the summer season—it offered a different perspective and a peaceful atmosphere. The elevator was out of service during our stay, but this was communicated ahead of time, and the nightly rate reflected the inconvenience, which we appreciated. Overall, Sundance Lodge provided good value for the price. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay and don’t mind that it’s a little older, it’s a solid choice.
