The hotel is historic but not elaborate. Expect an over the pub experience. The room was a good size, but the bathroom was tiny. The food in the pub was good as was breakfast. Across the street from the train station. Check-in is not until after 1600 daily, so don't arrive early.

This is a pub. You can't arrive or check in early because they aren't open, but it's not a problem once you're checked in. There’s no kettle in the room but the breakfast is good and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is excellent opposite the station and close to bus station and town centre.

We liked it so much, we stayed another day. We very much appreciated the free parking right out front and breakfast as included. The bar downstairs was handy and the staff was very helpful. The room was spacious and gave us room to spread out. Bathroom was small but functional.

We walked a short distance to get a meal in town. The desk clerk was very nice.

The people who run it are really nice and worked hard to keep you happy and informed. It’s an older hotel with no air conditioning and small rooms but that’s what I was expecting before I went so just know what you’re renting. But the staff was great

Nice and interesting place to stay with great staff. Unfortunately, it could get abit noisy from the bar just downstairs but then again, it’s convient to swing down for dinner and drinks!

Friendly reception, room was fine, really bad smell from bathroom though. Breakfast was ordinary, enough but nothing extra. The location just across the railway & bus station was nice.

This was my second stay at Bishops Arms Kristianstad. I love it! Great breakfast, right across the street from the train station, and the pub has plenty to offer. In my experience, the staff is cool and very accommodating.

Single room was comfortable with plenty of room including a desk, closet, nightstand, suitcase rack, nightstand, and hot water pot with a selection of coffee and tea. Breakfast room was really nice with a lot of options including bacon and eggs all included in the price. Then there is the pub on the main floor open for dinner.

Hotel is right next to the train station, right next to the 1600's Trinity Cathedral, is right downtown, and has a bar with over 200 beers and the same for whiskey... what more do you want?

The location was perfect--close to bus/train station as well as shopping. I found the breakfast selection to be excellent! I saw some complaints of the rooms being small, but I didn't have a problem with it. Doesn't really matter because you'll probably spend more time out exploring than in your room! Will definitely stay again if I ever travel to Kristianstad in the future.

Lovely hotel. Great breakfasts and very friendly helpful staff. Room was cleaned everyday. Some bar noise at weekends but we didn't really notice it. Very pleased . Would recommend

This hotel suited the needs of my short business trip perfectly, I arrived in the evening and checked in at the bar - staff very friendly. They were busy and actually turned people away whilst I was checking in - can't be a bad sign in my book. Room was small but functional, nice view out over the church next door. WiFi worked in the room as long as I connected whilst in the bar and then went to the room. Wet room was a nice touch and the shower was good although on a later start one day (08:30) the temp and pressure was a little hit and miss. Usual TV selection although they showed all the World Cup matches which was handy. Breakfast was simple buffet style but sorted me out nicely, nice hot tea went down a treat too. Upon my return in the evening I found out that they have over 200 beers so my night was sorted, simple but tasty food menu also. The pulled pork burger was a hit with most people it seemed. Not cheap in the bar but it is Sweden after all, most beers around £6 and meals £10 up.

This hotel brings new meaning to the term stumbling distance! I litterally completed the check-in process at the Bishops Arms Pub situated below the hotel rooms. The staff was friendly and got me checked in quickly. The single room was tiny which is no surprise for Sweden. The price was okay. It was clean and I could not hear the noise from below. My only complaint is that the shower/bathroom was so cramped that the shower curtain was stuck/draped around me the whole time, and I'm slim.

Ideal location across from central station, next to the famous church. Good clean nice rooms - great atmosphere and food in pub
