I stayed at Hotel Downtown for 4 nights on a business trip, and the experience couldn't have been better. I highly recommend it! The value for money at this hotel is simply spectacular. For the prices charged, the level of service and conditions offered exceeded all expectations. The room I stayed in was surprisingly large, with plenty of space to work comfortably, and it also featured a great balcony, which was an excellent bonus for relaxing at the end of the day. The location is another major plus: the hotel is very well-situated, allowing for quick commutes both for professional commitments and for exploring the city. A very special shout-out and honorable mention goes to the night security team, Angel and Julian. They are absolutely spectacular guys—extremely attentive, friendly, and they make sure you feel completely safe and welcome at any hour. I loved my stay and, without a doubt, this will be my go-to choice whenever I return to Sofia. 100% recommended!

The hotel is quite central, well-located in the city center near all activities and public transport. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. The price is very attractive, and the room was at the perfect temperature.

The room was not clean. Initially, we saw that the carpet was very dirty and stained. When we went to sleep, we found a set of pyjamas underneath one of the pillows and the bedsheets smelled like man’s cologne. When we told the reception that we don’t think the bedsheets were changed after the previous guests, they just apologised and did not seem to care at all.
